Sean Beech sentenced on 22nd November 2024 to four and a half years for breaking a police officer’s nose. It is the longest prison sentence to date for anyone convicted of being involved in the violent disorder in Southport. From charging to sentence was about two and a half months. Mohammed Fahir Amaaz was convicted in July 2025 of two counts of actual bodily harm against the female police officers including punching PC Lydia Ward and breaking her nose, plus common assault on a member of the public. He’s been in custody on remand for 10 months ever since, awaiting sentencing. His brother hasn’t been convicted on the main charges.

He insists he was wrongfully convicted and wants someone in the system to look at the evidence and "ask if this was fair." On Thursday (Dec. 18), Tory Lanez spoke to NBC News amid his planned appeal after being convicted of the 2020 shooting. He's seeking release from prison. The rapper is currently incarcerated at California Men's Colony in San Luis Obispo, Calif., and has already served three years of his 10-year sentence. "There is definitely a very big misconception about me that seems to the public as I'm this monster," Tory says. "I feel like I was catapulted into this poster child for the unprotection of Black women, and it's just so unlike me. And I've never really had a chance to express that." The Canadian native claims he doesn't have a record of violence against women. "I've never been violent towards women," he insists. "I would never hit a woman, let alone shoot a woman." Since the shooting incident occurred in 2020, and the 2022 trial for the charges against him, Tory has proclaimed his innocence. After being found guilty of assault with a semiautomatic weapon, personal use of a firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, Tory feels he was wrongfully convicted. "I believe not only that I was wrongfully convicted, but the amount of new evidence that has emerged since that trial, I think, has been overwhelming," he maintains. Instead of addressing that problem Governor Gavin Newsom Newsom is attacking Trump over immigration enforcement. He’s trying to shift the narrative away from illegal minors likely being trafficked in his state. He seems far more interested in fighting Trump than trafficking.

Through his first three games he’s averaging 17/5/2 and 3 blocks a game while shooting 55% from the field and 44% from three on 5 attempts a game. Holifield is extremely versatile and can multiple positions on the court due to his shooting ability and fluidity, he’s been one of the best big shooters in CBB this season shooting 44% from three on high usage and he has the ability to shoot off the dribble at a high level or off the catch. He’s also a skilled mid range scorer and passer for his height. On the defensive end he’s extremely switchable and uses his size and athleticism to be a rim protector and read passing lanes for steals.

Legal reporter Meghann Cuniff was on the scene in the Florida courtroom, where she reported on what went down between both sides. Both Megan and Milagro were seen on video by TMZ and Cuniff leaving the courtroom yesterday. They both appeared in good spirits. The trial jury is composed of five men and four women, including a Black man and a Black woman, according to Cuniff. "The Black man is a teacher who described himself as a 'disciplinarian,'" she tweeted. Megan sued Milagro for defamation in 2024. The rapper accuses Milagro of falsely accusing her of committing the crime of perjury, of promoting a fake pornographic video of her, and of engaging in extreme and outrageous conduct by coordinating with Tory Lanez, who was convicted in 2023 of shooting Megan in 2020. He is currently serving 10 years in prison for the crime. In addition to those allegations, Megan also accuses Milagro of working with Tory and his father, Sonstar Peterson, to orchestrate online harassment, including spreading fake rumors of Megan. As a result of these accusations, Megan has a five-year restraining order against Tory. Milagro denies the allegations against her. Tory Lanez has been unsuccessfully deposed in prison for this lawsuit several times. Since April, he refused to answer questions and made the legal process difficult on three separate occasions.
