No slow tailing off, no suffering. It was just way too soon for us and his amazing family. JCD lived his life with intention and vigor, and his stories reflect that. He made a mark on the world and leaves a formidable legacy. God speed John, we miss you.

I listen to his wife say how it happened. I don't understand some of it though. He obviously didn't feel well because he thought his blood sugar was low. Did he have a do not resuscitate order or was he not mobile? It sounds like he was having people take care of him I know he had a big bypass. I'm sure 911 came. The story is very interesting and honestly it sounds like something from a movie but it's peaceful. If we all could go that way I think that would be a choice we would want
