REACTION: The San Francisco 49ers draft De'Zhaun Stribling with the 33rd overall pick. There's a lot to like about his game, but he did go a little earlier than I anticipated after I took him in my final 49ers mock draft. - 6'2'', with 4.3 speed - Tracks the ball very well - Productive at three different schools - Speed to pull away from defenders - On 216 career catches, he only had nine drops - Plays physical and is a good run blocker #49ers

ESPN analyst Mike Tannenbaum believes the 49ers should sign FA WR Stefon Diggs “Even though they added Mike Evans and drafted De'Zhaun Stribling in the second round, I still think if they brought in one more veteran receiver for a team that is in a win now mode, I think you’d get one year out of Stefon Diggs and San Francisco has done that over the years. He’s past his prime, but come on in while Stribling develops, see what you have in Pearsall who’s been hurt, I think Diggs can help the 49ers passing attack.”

They came down to North Carolina. I was at Duke and Harbaugh and Greg Roman came down and were very CIA like. De'Zhaun Stribling was a late riser in the draft process, and it's clear to see why as he's an obvious coach's favorite WR. No shock Kyle Shanahan had his eye on him. He should fit right into Jauan Jennings' vacated role.

Stribling did it and played a number of plays before even saying anything… They go through the whole protocol of having him run up and down the sideline, they test everything. I get a “he’s out for a little bit, we’re testing him”. His Achilles is intact. We see it’s not a high ankle sprain. He’s running and we’re gonna let him go back in. There were doctors that examined him, including Dr. Daniel Cooper, the Dallas Cowboys doctor that performed surgery on Patrick Mahomes and Malik Nabers ... many teams & players rely on Dr. Cooper's expertise. And Dr. Cooper was one of the doctors that reviewed the images where the Ravens then felt compelled to back out of this trade." Have to wonder if this connects the dots on why Dallas may have left the Crosby sweepstakes...

Bronny James on national television in the McDonald’s All-American game. Some publications had him rated as a 5-star recruit. Others had him rated as a 4-star recruit. A couple of my boys watched the McDonald’s game just to see Bronny stink it up. They swore before the game that Bronny had no business being there, and that he was about to be exposed by far more talented high school players. I was bracing myself for phone calls. I knew that my boys were going to call me talking trash if Bronny stunk it up in this game. Then the game started…….and it was QUICKLY evident that there was a future first round draft pick on the floor playing against a bunch of college recruits. The previous day, he came in 2nd place in the dunk contest. Now here he was looking like Klay Thompson in the game! I never received those phone calls! I wonder why…………..hmmmmmmmm!!!!!!
