If I see my baby running like this I am running

my favorite ones are the babies dragging their face. a little discomfort isn’t stopping them from getting to their destination

One of mine (out of five) used a technique, if you can believe it, that is not depicted here. Before he could crawl, he could roll over, like most babies. Unlike most babies, he realized that was a mechanism for locomotion.

this lil guy right here is my fav

This isn't real locomotion, this is just soulless shambling that is just recreated from all the stolen genetics in the model. These things are going to take people's jobs. Where will that leave professional runners?

It's a lot more like PPO than I ever thought it had the option to be not going to lie. My baby learns everything by basically just.. button mashing

Future Marine

really depends on the environment when you think of it the rug face slider kid wouldn’t stand a chance on the army crawl kid turf

i saw that mf baby hitting this 😭

Until we get a robot crawling with its face to the ground, we haven’t reached agi

and after videos like that you tell me we aren't alike

Why is one of them moving like this

Those frog moves was the way our first kid had locked on very early. It's... not very energy efficient way xD Later, there was a time when she saw another kid crawl in the normal way, and a lightbulb went up, and then she started also crawling from that point on.

Lol. Our oldest just rolled sideways everywhere at first. Had to make three points turns to change direction.

There is this channel "AI warehouse" where they train RL agents to perform various tasks. This kinda looks like it

My 6-month-old recently displayed tremendous agency in crawling to a plate with a piece of chocolate bread, grabbing it with his wrist, somehow twisting it hard enough to break off a few pieces, and then partially succeeding in shoving them into his mouth.

Adorable intelligence

I love the scissor baby. He discovered that particular motion moved him forward and went all in on it lol

@kristijan_moves movement class where everyone is assigned one of these and then you play tag

apparently i never crawled as a kid, i only used my arms to drag myself around everywhere and directly went to walking

0:17 and 0:24 stuck in a local maximum they are for some reason having trouble seeing their way out of.

suddenly those RL walking videos dont look so off

8 month old reward hackers and you guys are still im Mom's basement? Get out there and win like these guys that still literally poop in their pants.

Some of these kids have a future at the Ministry of Silly Walks.

currently watching my almost 5 months figuring out that she can roll to things

it's interesting that all of these are utterly adorable

they need a better fitness function.

biggest differentiator is the will!

Like models training in RL environments 🫣

A guy I work with nicknamed his grandson "Slider". I always thought it was a silly nickname. I get it now.

My favorite was the baby hopping like a frog
