Added some improvements to StrobePages — a flipbook-style post-processing effect for Unity URP. I’ve also updated the sample scene with a more stylized look.

I've updated the post for the fake liquid effect for BIRP and made a new post for the Shader Graph URP version :) Update has some fixes like no longer needing a pivot in the center and working with timescale 0 Links in reply with source code/graph! #gamedev #unity3d

Day 6 of rebuilding my game, Soccer Pinball Pro, with Astra + Unity CLI. Today was a big one. Improved lighting and shadows, new grass texture, better feedback, an updated scoreboard, and of course, the striker can now bicycle kick because why not. It’s kind of unbelievable how quickly I’m able to iterate with this setup. I also added a new goal effect, which has me thinking about letting players unlock different scoring effects, from explosions to more stylized effects that make each goal feel a little more satisfying.

Custom water shader with waterline and underwater effects in Unity, URP. Running natively on Quest 3 at 72fps. No post-processing. The waterline and underwater fogs are just two quads in front of the camera with special shaders. #unity #madewithunity #quest #vr #MetaQuest3

I’ve taken the #threejs water realism to the next level! Now with RGB distortion in the caustics, we get even more realistic, colorful light projections. The water movement has been improved to flow naturally, with optimizations for smoother performance. Plus, I’ve added a post-processing effect that simulates underwater distortion, complete with a dynamic waterline when the camera is partially submerged. After diving in, watch out for realistic water droplets on the screen! Stay tuned for the live link coming soon! 🌊💧. You can watch the video with better quality on my YouTube Channel. #threejsJourney #creativecoding #r3f
