Added terminal support to the OpenCode desktop app. The OpenCode server now exposes APIs for creating PTY sessions. - server buffers messages on ws disconnect - client persists buffer on unmount - tabs are unmounted when not active - only one PTY ws connection active at a time

shipped a few updates to the opencode site ⦿ new zen page ⦿ added desktop app waitlist ⦿ added faq ⦿ improved copy ⦿ cleaner mobile ⦿ refined dark mode still lots to improve on, but this gives us a better baseline, and allows me to focus full time on our desktop app

This will be how to install OpenCode plugins from npm. It uses package.json exports spec to detect entry points, so server and tui can be separated nicely. The engines field will allow to target opencode versions.

So I created a simple Expo app for remotely connecting to an OpenCode server (running on my mac) so I can remotely control & prompt from my iPad or phone. Not very polished but it works pretty well and its kinda interesting that you can see the feedback loop live.

OpenCode now let's you enable sound and desktop notifications for the TUI. Sounds are customisable. You can turn off sound or desktop notifications individually. Desktop notifications use OSC 9/99/777 sequences where available, might not work reliably in all terminals.
