The woman recording went to this store to shop, when she got close to the register she was confronted by one of the workers who saw she has keloids on her skin and confused it with monkeypox. The worker then refused her service and told her she had to leave. The woman was upset and explained to her that no she doesn’t have monkeypox it’s just keloids. I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. This woman sometimes has to park in front of her neighbors house because her parents leave before her. She parks in the street against her neighbors wishes because they feel that only they can park there and she should be parking in front of her own house. She comes out one day to a down on her windshield and they wrote on her car in permanent marker telling her not to park there. At what point is this considered vandalism? Would you stand for this?
