@danhentschel69 "Don't go" is bad advice from a questionable source. A maxim for life: Avoid Avoidance. What should you do? You go and you discuss (with your therapist) your wish that your therapist be perfect, and you both reflect and learn from that, among other things.

@danhentschel69 People are not upset that you’re imperfect, nobody’s perfect. But you just said “get over it” which as a therapist you should know that is not constructive.

@danhentschel69 Or maybe they were mad because you posted this to the public internet where anyone of your clients could see this. A therapist is a person absolutely, but they also have responsibilities if you can’t accept that than maybe a career with less responsibility would suit you better.
