Aditya Thackeray’s double standards have come to the forefront with his recent actions. While he had delayed the Mumbai Metro projects, citing environmental concerns, he was seen today making reels promoting metro travel as environmentally friendly. This sudden shift raises questions about his true stance on the matter. The delay in these projects, during his tenure, resulted in a massive cost escalation of ₹20,000 crores. This makes it seem like the environmental activism was more of a political excuse rather than a genuine concern. Today, however, he is seen endorsing the very project he once delayed, adding to the perception of inconsistency in his approach. Such contradictions not only confuse the public but also raise doubts about the real motivations behind political decisions. If metro travel is genuinely eco-friendly, why delay its implementation at the cost of taxpayers' money?

Looks like the baby penguin had a great time.

Public figures should be consistent in their actions and advocacy, especially when it impacts public infrastructure.

tragedy is that public around @AUThackeray in that Metro are NOT verbally slapping him for his AntiMeTRO stance on grounds of #Environment @pallavict @MumbaichaDon @Iyervval @RajThackeray #MaharahstraElection2024

@captpillay Not even one metro traveller's had the guts to question him why today he is shamelessly travelling by metro ,when he opposed the metro contruction vehemently leading to escalation in cost . You too are afraid of tagging @AUThackeray

Baap Mare Andhere Main, Beta Power House!

Excuse me Mr. @AUThackeray any rebuttal ?

@Mohansinha You should really ask this question to your party how much of the escalation costs went to your pockets

@MandarSawant184 This was a move to impress upon his voters in Worli that he is responsible for development of Metro/Coastal Roads. That's what he has told them on this visits there. Video shows someone talking about cctv installation so that it seems that AT will install them soon!
