I heard someone say that there are over a million people who have canceled their licensing fee with the BBC. Now they can't put a million of you in jail. They could fine you but I haven't heard anybody talk about being fined either. So this could just be a big scare tactic.

Prisoners don’t pay tv license to watch full freeview telly in their cells. They only pay 10p to 50p a day out their wages depending on which HMP they are in. That’s the worst scum you can imagine, watching free live tv all day, that you are paying £150 for. There’s serial rapists with Xboxes & PS5s in their cells, with their mates during social time, off work for the weekend, doing exactly what they would be doing at home.
