In 2017, the 17-year-old from Ariyalur had scored 1,176 out of 1,200 marks in her Class 12 Tamil Nadu State Board exams. Her medical cut-off score was 196.75 out of 200 — marks that would have placed her among medical aspirants under Tamil Nadu’s earlier admission system. But that year, NEET became mandatory for medical admissions. Anitha, who had prepared through the state-board syllabus, could not secure a medical seat through the national entrance exam. She became one of the earliest voices opposing NEET in Tamil Nadu, arguing that a common entrance test would disadvantage students from rural areas, government schools and marginalised communities. Anitha’s brother S. Manirathnam, who has now joined the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest in Delhi, says her fight was deeply personal. He says Anitha was raised by their father, a daily wage labourer, after their mother died when she was seven. He recalls that Anitha wanted to become a doctor because their mother’s death due to an illness had shaped her dream of entering medicine. “She wanted to become a doctor because she had seen the suffering caused by the lack of medical care,” Manirathnam said, recalling his sister’s journey. Anitha joined the legal battle against NEET and became one of the petitioners before the Supreme Court, seeking relief for Tamil Nadu students. Hon'ble Minister Udhay - தமிழ்நாட்டை தலைகுனிய விடமாட்டேன் as a responsible leader of a people centric movement speaks with historical clarity and political integrity. He explains why NEET is not just flawed but fraudulent. He recalls how in early days of medical education Sanskrit was mandatory to even apply for medical education. This was not about merit but about exclusion. He also explains that it was the Justice party, the ideological foundation of today's DMK that abolished such discriminatory practice. He highlights the case of Miss Nila Bharathi, a student from Tamil Nadu who couldn't secure a medical seat via NEET but later went on to top the State in the UPSC examination - the most competitive examination of the nation. He rightly points out that NEET isn't about intelligence, and implies that it's only about expensive coaching and repeated drilling. On the other hand, actor turned politcal actor, TVK Vijay takes a completely different route. Instead of standing up for the students of Tamil Nadu, for the health infrastructure of Tamil Nadu, educating them about the marketocracy of neet, he tells students "NEET is not the only exam" through which he implies that medicine is not the only field to aspire to. This is exactly what RSS BJP ecosystem has been repeating since NEET was imposed. Its a cop out, not a solution. By diverting attention, normalising NEET,and refusing to take a political stand vijay has shown a disturbing alignment with the BJP RSS narrative which seems to be deliberate and due to lack of political knowledge. The choice is clear, One speaks the truth and fights for rights. The other surrenders to the Union and sugarcoats injustice. Dravidian movement is about educating the people. Not misguiding.

Visited Hansraj College Hansraj College, University of Delhi in Delhi University yesterday. I was on a start up panel discussion. My co-panelist was Vikas Kuthiala angel investor and startup mentor. He is an alumnus of Hansraj College. We had an engaging conversation. My observation is similar to that when I visited SRCC some time ago. The students are bright, committed and driven. They will do well in their lives and careers. The faculty who I met also exhibited the same traits. Shahrukh Khan’s Shah Rukh Khan imprint is there everywhere in the college. From his portrait on the Wall of Fame to his photograph on the back of the mobile phone of the student who was escorting us around, to the conversations with the faculty. They are really really proud of him (and justifiably so). Everyone has a Shahrukh story. A piece of trivia I picked up - SRK had topped his batch at HansRaj. He studied Economics. Another piece of information - there is very little difference in the cut-offs marks for admission to the various colleges in DU. As a consequence there are equally good students across most of the colleges. This has meant a significant improvement in the academic culture across the university from the time when I studied there in the early eighties. Less goondaism. When was the last time you read in the papers about a bus being burnt by striking students in DU or of violence during DUSU elections? Fewer DUTA and DUSU strikes that paralyse the University today - they were an annual occurrence a few decades back. You can be in any one of a dozen or more colleges and do very well academically. Another piece of feedback I picked up. The students who I spoke to were all very happy with the CUET being used as the common exam for admissions to DU. One big reason - it has led to a common objective metric for admissions unlike earlier where the various different state and central school boards would have different standards for awarding marks leading to students of some states having an advantage. While the intention behind this shift—to promote equity and expand access—may be well-meaning, the reality is that it has replaced a system based on effort, interest, and demonstrated commitment with one largely dependent on chance and luck. For years, students worked hard to earn their place in these highly sought-after programs by maintaining strong attendance, showing dedication, and actively preparing for a future in the trades. Today, many of those same students find themselves waitlisted or denied admission, not because they lacked motivation or ability, but simply because their name was not drawn. Families have described this transition as a “drastic jump from one extreme to the other,” moving away from merit entirely toward random choice. At the same time, the core issue remains unresolved: there are far more qualified applicants than available seats. Tens of thousands of students apply for just over ten thousand openings each year, meaning that regardless of the admissions method, many will be left out. Instead of addressing this shortage through expansion and investment, the state has chosen to redistribute opportunity through a system that many perceive as arbitrary and discouraging. This approach risks sending a troubling message to students—that hard work, consistency, and passion may not matter when pursuing certain educational paths. It also raises concerns about long-term impacts on student motivation and the development of a skilled workforce. A fair system should strive for both equity and recognition of effort. Massachusetts must re-evaluate this policy and consider solutions that balance opportunity with accountability—while also addressing the fundamental issue of limited access by expanding vocational education capacity. Students deserve more than a lottery. They deserve a system that reflects both fairness and the value of their hard work. If you feel this same way you need to make some noise! Reach out to the State Department of Education and your State Senator and Representative. Tell them this broken system needs to be fixed immediately.

U of T converts shared prayer room into Muslim-only space, Jewish students pushed out The University of Toronto has officially redesignated the former Open Assembly Space in the Bahen Centre for Information Technology, a convenient ground-floor prayer room long used as a non-denominational option by engineering students, as a dedicated Muslim prayer space. The February 13, 2026 announcement by the Multi-Faith Centre justifies the move by citing heavy usage by Muslim students and promises future upgrades like prayer mats, storage, and ablution stations with bidets. An ablution station is a washing facility where Muslims perform wudu, the ritual washing of hands, face, arms, head, and feet, required before their daily prayers. Before the change was made official, Jewish students who depended on the space for daily prayers began facing barriers. The full carpeting made praying with shoes on, standard for many Jews, feel impossible without either breaking religious custom or feeling like they were desecrating the room. Anti-Israel propaganda flyers turned up in the space that should have been a neutral place of worship. Loud group prayers also disrupted individuals trying to complete their own observances. Then the prayer room was fully converted to a Muslim-only prayer space in February with the Multi-Faith Centre citing that the Bahen prayer room was hardly used until the Muslim Students Association decided to “invest” in it by making the mentioned changes. When I contacted U of T Media Relations, they responded with a classic deflection. They pointed to the original announcement and provided a list of other worship spaces across campuses, including the St. George Campus Jewish Centre and various Christian options. They offered no explanation for why a previously shared, centrally located room was converted rather than kept multi-faith. It was the standard institutional response: there are other spaces, go use those. This is not genuine accommodation; it is demographic surrender to the majority, disguised as inclusivity. The university is bending over backwards to formalize and upgrade a dominant group’s preferred space while telling other students to consult a campus map. Non-Muslim students at U of T deserve better than second-class treatment and to feel targeted in a place of prayer. By prioritizing one community’s needs and deflecting legitimate complaints, the University of Toronto is sending a clear message about whose belonging actually counts on campus. U of T converts shared prayer room into Muslim-only space, Jewish students pushed out The University of Toronto has officially redesignated the former Open Assembly Space in the Bahen Centre for Information Technology, a convenient ground-floor prayer room long used as a non-denominational option by engineering students, as a dedicated Muslim prayer space. The February 13, 2026 announcement by the Multi-Faith Centre justifies the move by citing heavy usage by Muslim students and promises future upgrades like prayer mats, storage, and ablution stations with bidets. An ablution station is a washing facility where Muslims perform wudu, the ritual washing of hands, face, arms, head, and feet, required before their daily prayers. Before the change was made official, Jewish students who depended on the space for daily prayers began facing barriers. The full carpeting made praying with shoes on, standard for many Jews, feel impossible without either breaking religious custom or feeling like they were desecrating the room. Anti-Israel propaganda flyers turned up in the space that should have been a neutral place of worship. Loud group prayers also disrupted individuals trying to complete their own observances. Then the prayer room was fully converted to a Muslim-only prayer space in February with the Multi-Faith Centre citing that the Bahen prayer room was hardly used until the Muslim Students Association decided to “invest” in it by making the mentioned changes. When I contacted U of T Media Relations, they responded with a classic deflection. They pointed to the original announcement and provided a list of other worship spaces across campuses, including the St. George Campus Jewish Centre and various Christian options. They offered no explanation for why a previously shared, centrally located room was converted rather than kept multi-faith. It was the standard institutional response: there are other spaces, go use those. This is not genuine accommodation; it is demographic surrender to the majority, disguised as inclusivity. The university is bending over backwards to formalize and upgrade a dominant group’s preferred space while telling other students to consult a campus map. Non-Muslim students at U of T deserve better than second-class treatment and to feel targeted in a place of prayer. By prioritizing one community’s needs and deflecting legitimate complaints, the University of Toronto is sending a clear message about whose belonging actually counts on campus. I talked with a man from India in downtown Red Deer about student visas, immigration fraud, refugee claims, and whether Canada should actually enforce its own rules. I started with softball questions. He told me he came here as a student, studied chemical engineering, and is now working in healthcare because that may be a better pathway to permanent residency. Then I asked him about something many Canadians have heard about: students coming here, not finishing school, working instead, and then claiming refugee status when their student visa is running out. Then, when I asked about agencies allegedly helping students qualify financially, students borrowing money to show proof of funds, paying it back after arriving, working jobs, skipping school, and later claiming asylum, he suddenly became more defensive. Maybe he was being careful. Maybe he was caught off guard. But the conversation felt evasive. This is not some wild conspiracy theory. Canada’s own Auditor General reported that in 2023 and 2024, IRCC identified more than 153,000 students as potentially non-compliant with study permit conditions, but only had funding to investigate about 2,000 cases per year. IRCC launched 4,057 investigations, and about 40% of those cases were not closed because students did not respond to requests for information. The federal government has also acknowledged reports of international students and graduates facing removal because of fraud, including fraudulent admission documents, while some students claimed they did not know the documents were fake. And this problem has already hit the news. There were reports of hundreds of Indian students caught up in a fake Canadian college admission letter scandal, with a joint IRCC-CBSA task force reviewing cases. When I asked the man from India what should happen if fraud is happening, he said the government should have strict rules and enforce them. I agree. If you come to Canada honestly, follow the rules, study, work, integrate, and contribute, I respect that. But if people are cheating the student visa system, abusing refugee claims, lying on applications, or using loopholes to stay here after their status expires, Canadians have every right to ask questions. And Albertans have every right to ask why Ottawa controls the system while our communities deal with the consequences. This is another reason I support Alberta independence. WAQF (AMENDMENT) BILL, 2024 My Enthusiasm: The British enacted the Mussalman Wakf Act, 1923 for the better management of wakf property and for ensuring the keeping and publication of proper accounts in respect of such properties. After independence, the Waqf Act, 1954 was enacted but the earlier Act was not repealed. In 1995 a new Waqf Act was enacted repealing the 1954 Act. There was not any significant difference between the Acts of 1954 and 1995, as the latter was essentially a consolidation of several State amendments and judicial pronouncements. In March 2005 the UPA Government headed by Manmohan Singh appointed a seven-member high-level committee which was headed by Rajinder Sachar, a former Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, with Sayyid Hamid, M.A. Basith, Akhtar Majeed, Abu Saleh Shariff, T.K. Oommen and Rakesh Basant as its members. It is popularly known as the Sachar Committee. Based on one of the recommendations of the Sachar Committee, the UPA Government introduced the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2013 to amend the Waqf Act, 1995. It must be noted that the BJP enthusiastically supported the Bill and voted for it in Parliament. Consequent to the amendment, the Waqf Act became one most of draconian laws that India has ever enacted whereby any property can be unilaterally claimed by Muslims as waqf, and its owners can be disposed of it. It has been widely reported that the Muslims have been claiming villages after villages as wakf properties and thereby creating havoc. Therefore, the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 introduced in Parliament by the RSS-BJP-Modi Government is a welcome step, and I wholeheartedly endorse it. The Bill has since been referred to a Joint Parliamentary Committee headed by former CM of UP Jagadambika Pal. I sincerely hope and wish that it becomes an Act sooner than later. My Skepticism: A large number of Hindu refugees from Pakistan and Bangladesh who escaped to ‘Hindu India’ and their progeny, are not only HINOs (Hindus In name Only) but they are virulently Anti-Hindu and Pro-Muslim. They are worse than the Islamic Jihadis as they camouflage as Hindus while working for Islam. Rajinder Sachar’s family too came from West Pakistan to ‘Hindu India’ to escape religious persecution by Muslims. Yet, his ideological proclivities were mostly Anti-Hindu and Pro-Muslim. Therefore, it would be apt to categorise him as a Crypto-Muslim. Sachar Committee submitted its Pro-Muslim, nay Anti-Hindu, Report in November, 2016. Its reading would reveal that the demands of the Muslim League prior to independence that led to partition of India, would pale before the recommendations of Sachar Committee. It is not an exaggeration to say that the Sachar Committee has planted seeds for the 2nd partition of India, nay fast-tracking of Islamisation of India. Out of 76 recommendations of Sachar Committee, the Government accepted 72, rejected 3 and deferred 1. Most State Governments, including all the RSS-BJP State Governments as well as the Gujarat State Government headed by Narendra Modi as CM, have vigorously implemented and been implementing the Sachar Committee recommendations since 2017 onwards. Yet, the RSS-BJP never missed an opportunity to publicly criticise the Sachar Committee Report to fool gullible Hindus. After 6 years of vigorous implementation of the recommendations of Sachar Committee and favouring Muslims as their daamads (sons-in-law) in every which way by (mis)using secular public funds, and just before General Elections to Lok Sabha which were due in 2014, in August 2013 the Narendra Modi headed Gujarat State Government challenged its constitutional validity in Supreme Court again to fool gullible Hindus. The RSS-BJP-Modi Central Government has been implementing the Sachar Committee Report with the fervour of a new convert to Islam. Consequently, #Minority_Appeasement in the past 10 years of RSS-BJP-Modi rule has reached Himalayan heights putting all other parties to shame. Further, in the past 10 years, with the zeal of a Jihadi the RSS-BJP-Modi Central Government has been vigorously enforcing the draconian provisions of the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2013 which were incorporated into the Waqf Act, 1995 with the proactive support of BJP in Parliament👇. As a result, the number of immovable properties held/claimed by the Waqf Boards skyrocketed to humongous 8.7 lakhs. A Google search says that Waqf Boards are the 3rd largest land holders in India after the Government and the Christian Church. The credit for this notoriety goes entirely to the #PseudoHindutva RSS-BJP-Modi. With a lot of pomposity the RSS-BJP-Modi Central Government introduced the Prohibition of Child Marriage (Amendment) Bill, 2021 in Parliament on 20-12-2021. I welcomed it except for the proposal to increase age of marriage. It was referred to a Select Committee headed by Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, and it is not known whether it gave any report. However, due to Muslim pressure the RSS-BJP-Modi deliberately delayed its passing as a result the Bill lapsed due to the dissolution of 17th Lok Sabha. Thus they gave a quiet burial to an important Bill that sought to reform marriage of all religious communities which would have a bearing on the differential growth rates of population. Given the unsavoury background and the Pro-Muslim and Anti-Hindu penchants of the RSS-BJP-Modi, I do not see much hope of the Wakf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 becoming a law. Revanth Reddy totally failed in maintaining law & order in Telangana and protection of muslims is at the mercy of communal elements: Amjed Ullah Khan (Spokesman) MBT today demanded a judicial inquiry into the communal incidence happened in Medak District where communal elements of BJP & RSS were seen attacking muslims and their properties. Mr Khan said it all started when some communal elements objected to having presence of some Ox in Madersa Minhaj-ul-Uloom, Indrapuri Colony and started assembling local hindus spreading false news that the said Madersa people has brought Cow for slaughter. The police was informed immediately but inspite of presence of Medak Police the communal elements barged into the Madersa and wanted to take all Ox having Municipal Slip and Medical Certificate, When the local muslims went to stop them the communal elements attacked Muslims injuring nearly ten persons. The police was mute spectators as after attacking muslims they took out a procession chanting anti-muslim slogans and damaging passerby cars, hospital, shops belonging to muslim community. The lawlessness went upto nearly five hours but the Medak Police was mute spectators.Since the Parliamentary Elections-2024 and BJP wining eight seats there was an Intelligence in-put that BJP & RSS might creat communal tension in view of Eid-ul-Adha but the Telangana State Police and Medak District police were caught sleeping or kept quite intentionally to appease hindutva forces. Mr Amjed Ullah Khan (Spokesman) MBT said this is not the first time that Anumula Revanth Reddy opted a soft hindutva approch but since he took charge as Cheif Minister of Telangana he is silent on attacks on muslims and their institutions. The communal incidents started from Velpoor Village in Armoor Town where Temple was constructed on a Muslim Graveyard and a social bycott call of Muslims was given.Another Temple was constructed on a Graveyard land in Indalwai Village both of Nizamabad District and the police did not took any action against Sri Arvind Dharmapuri BJP (MP). During the Inaugration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh the communal elements in Narketpally, Nalgonda District constructed a makeshift Temple in open space of Masjid-e-Sarai Meer and attacked Muslims who were offering Esha prayers.On the same night the communal elements in Sangareddy and Daulatabad took out a procession without permission and attacked Muslims and burnt shops belonging to muslim for which Sangareddy District Police is quit till today. Recently during Holy Celebration some communal elements put up prohibited songs infront of a Masjid in Chengicherla and attacked Muslims in which the police booked many muslim youths in false cases and whole Ramzan they were in Jail. Seeing all this communal incidence and silence of Anumula Revanth Reddy against BJP & RSS elements and BJP winning eight seats the Congress Central leadership should take some drastic action and change their Cheif Minister before it's too late and they loose the muslim confidence which may effect in upcoming Municipal Elections in Telangana and Maharashtra Assembly Elections.

In this video Yogendra Yadav ji says BJP-RSS are challenging 3,000 year ethos of Bharat by their brand of Hindutva. While I don’t support Ultra Right condemning all Muslims & don’t see every act of Right Wing rulers as correct, let Yogendra ji reply to questions below: 1. Why he has never talked about the Muslim appeasement policies of the Cong rulers forced on Hindus in first 60 years of India’s independence even after granting Pakistan to Indian Muslims on their demand ? 2. Why he has never spoken about the open Pan-Islamism & anti-Hindu hatred being spread in India by a vast section of Indian Wahabis - Deoband, Tabligh Jamat & Ahle Hadees ? 3. Why he hates Hindu communalism & keeps silent on much more virulent & anti-national Muslim ( read Wahabi) communalism ? 4. A book called Taqwiat-ul-Iman being taught in all Wahabi madrasas openly condemns all Hindu customs & also Sufi customs. Has he ever condemned it ? 5. BR Ambedker condemned entire Muslim community in his book ‘ My Thoughts on Pakistan’ saying no practising Muslim can be loyal to India based on tenets of Quran - an observation harsher than even Veer Savarkar I don’t agree with Ambedkar on this because there are practising Muslims who have died for India & have even now been sacrificing their lives in Kashmir, putting nation before religion. In this video Yogendra Yadav ji says BJP-RSS are challenging 3,000 year ethos of Bharat by their brand of Hindutva. Jagdeep was 'Gayab' after resigning (reportedly for conspiring against Modi Sarkar) & then popped up suddenly for a faltu book launch 'Hum Aur Yah Vishwa’. Intrigued by this I checked author & everything started falling in place. Author is Manmohan Vaidya, Joint Gen Sec of RSS...most influential post after RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat. Manmohan Vaidya has interesting track record. PM Modi Ji was declared BJP's PM Candidate on 12 Sept 2013. But Vaidya was already feeling too bad about it since long time before that. Some of his interesting statements👇 -"The Sangh is not in favour of any personality cult. BJP should decide its leader through consensus, not by promoting individuals." -"BJP should not name a prime ministerial candidate prematurely and that the victory in Gujarat was a collective effort, not just about an individual." -"To discuss BJP's prime ministerial candidate after Gujarat assembly elections is both premature and irrelevant. Gujarat assembly elections weren't fought for this purpose." -"Modi is only one among the many prime ministerial candidates in the BJP." -"Gujarat chief minister's candidature would work to the advantage of BJP's rivals." Interestingly, some of these statements were made during September 7-9, 2013 to be specific. Before 12 Sept 2013, there was also a meeting held b/w RSS & BJP after 'some' BJP leaders who didn't want Modi Ji’s name to be declared as PM Candidate, went to RSS for intervention. Manmohan Vaidya was more than enthusiastic to issue a statement that time too. “This meeting was not held to take a decision [on the PM candidate]. I will not say this here.” (When pressed on Modi specifically.) He added that the RSS had shared its "feelings" but left the call to the BJP. Fortunately, BJP took the 'right' call & Modi Ji was declared as PM candidate DEFYING 'Suggestions' from RSS. We must always remain indebted to late-Arun Jaitley Sir, Rajnath Singh Ji & late-Manohar Parrikar Ji for making this possible and change Bharat's destiny forever. But Manmohan Vaidya didn't seem to be very happy even after BJP winning LS with full majority on its own & continued making statements which could hurt BJP. Everyone knows 'road to Delhi' passes through UP. Winning UP Assembly in 2017 was of utmost importance for BJP before 2019 LS Elections and Manmohan Vaidya strikes again...Vaidya kicked up a controversy by suggesting a review of the reservation policy just before Assembly Election. That one statement was enough to wipe out BJP from UP forever (it wasn't in power in UP since 25 yrs already) & with it 2019 LS also. But fortunately, BJP worked in overdrive to clear the confusion. Mounting pressure forced Vaidya to issue clarification. Hats off to UP RSS unit which knew importance & desperation to win UP. Add to it meticulous planning of Amit Shah Ji & BJP stormed to power with Brute Majority to open roads for 2019 LS also. So Jagdeep attending book launch of 'this' person solved a big puzzle. And...inspite of working so hard, Vaidya has not been able to get his 'favourite' person in PM's Chair. Ps- I'm not denying RSS's contribution to Nation & Society. It is still the most dedicated orgañ to Society & Nation. Ideology hasn't changed, but people have. And sadly...people run orgñ. RSS is the same, Maybe people running it are not! RSS devouts will not like me writing this & will come pouncing on me. But I can see from a neutral PoV what a RSS affiliate can't, because.... I'm neither from RSS or BJP....I'm devoted ONLY & ONLY to Modi-Shah Ji & 'that's why' to BJP. So any criticism can't stop me from writing my opinion.

The bastion of "human" logic rested entirely on him, on people with PhDs who knew how to invent the problem. The collapse is simple. The shift to RLAIF and synthetic data. The model plays against itself, builds trees of logical inference, and solves deeper than a human can even invent the problem. No PhD data engineers, no hand-written prompt-completion examples, no manual grading. Just the model, search algorithms, and Chain of Thought. Ready-made "smart human-time" still sells on the market for many times more. His old rate was $50–100 per problem. The internal "mini-app" was written by the model too. Inside there's no pretty shell, just bare logic with exact steps: input: the problem statement inference tree: thousands of branches per second check: every step verifies itself output: a proof a human never had time to invent And here is what the whole setup looked like.
