This is so relatable for me. I was never a Trump supporter until 2023 when I accidentally redpilled myself. I was tired of being told one thing by the media and experiencing another in real life. I knew someone was lying, so I began to listen to independent journalists. It didn’t take me but one week to change my party affiliation. It’s hard being an ex-lib trying to get through to today’s liberals because they really truly think they’re right about everything. They actually believe everything the media tells them. They have to want to be open minded and to see both sides of things. There is no convincing many of them, no matter how hard you try. They have to want to know the truth…and it takes a confident, strong-willed person to admit that they were wrong.

Welcome! I’m glad you are here. Also, once you switch sides, you are now mercilessly attacked by the other side.

Her self assessment is on the mark, and no one wants to admit betrayal by their leaders. When I voted for the peanut farmer from Plains GA, and watched him disassembling things that this country shed blood to build, I felt the same. Glad she is with us, looking for the truth.

My mom voted for JC and realized her mistake. She never voted Dem again.

Great points, I think a lot of people are coming to the same realization. Admitting you’re wrong… -is ok. -is not the end of the world. -is a step toward improving yourself. -shows maturity. -makes you stronger. -is how we mentally evolve. -is healthy. -helps others.

My people! This is exactly what I went through. And since I’m living in the CA Bay Area, I feel completely isolated. I’ve tried to share clips of the “Very fine people” hoax and my friends and family just lash out at me and refuse to even look at it. I’ve seriously been thinking of looking for a support group of lefties that voted Trump. The struggle is real.
