This influencer asked this Texas bbq food truck in Japan to do a collab. Not only did he arrive two days early but he even brought another influencer friend unannounced. He then proceeded to be disrespectful, and spit out the food. His bad review is making the food truck now struggle. I never liked the idea of someone who is expecting free food in exchange for publicity and exposure. It seems rather one sided to me. Many times, the influencer isn’t familiar with the culture and style of food. I feel if he wasn’t used to the flavors and he didn’t like it, he didn’t have to be over dramatic about it and spit it out. He could have just said it wasn’t to his liking. For me he lost all credibility when he said the pork ribs weren’t even Wagyu when earlier it was clear he didn’t know what Wagyu tasted like when he ate the brisket. Wagyu is a breed of cow not pig, so in a sense he was right, the pork rib isn’t Wagyu. I feel he owes them an apology for his entitled behavior. It’s a shame their business is now suffering because of someone like this.

I would only blame myself if someone kept taking food off of my plate and eating it. It’s because I didn’t set clear boundaries at all. To be honest I couldn’t even be mad about this because it would be my fault this even happened. But you know very well I’m going to learn my lesson. She obviously is very comfortable doing this, he doesn’t seem to be firm about not letting her do it, the only one he can be mad at is himself. I think he will think twice about continuing to let her get away with it. Years ago, my brother used to do this to me and when I confronted him he laughed but he never stopped doing it, it got old really quick, I was annoyed because it felt like a bullying tactic. It got to the point one day that i had had enough, I made my plate and I dumped a bunch of salt into it knowing he was going to try to eat my food. After one bite he spit it out and he learned his lesson. He never did it again. But he still got mad I did it. Personally I think he was more mad he got caught if anything. I think a simple solution is to double order, that way if someone eats all my food I still have a back up, that could work right? But a part of me feels like that shouldn’t even be necessary. What would you do if someone kept eating off your plate? Would you put your foot down or just stay silent in hopes they don’t do it again. I think I am going to start just smoking more meat on the grill and keeping that up. I always make so much and if people wanna have some I still have plenty.

🐰 they’re asking if you’ve fully recovered 🧸 i’ve gotten a lot better and i’m going to the hospital for the last time tomorrow to see if i’ve fully recovered but i feel completely fine now so i think i’ve recovered 🧸 i feel like i’m going to cry when the doctor tells me that i can eat regular food tomorrow 🐰 because he’s been the only one eating porridge 🐰 he usually eats porridge but he does also eat some types of noodles 🧸that’s right, if it’s cold pasta, there’s nothing that will scratch my throat as i eat it so they said i can eat it 🧸 when i visited the doctor in the middle, i asked them “i really want to eat something different, is it okay if i eat cold buckwheat noodles?” and they said it was okay for me to eat it so then i ate chapagetti with hyung by cooling it in the fridge… 🐰 it made my heart hurt, we were going to order late night snacks and he said he really wanted to eat chapagetti and asked me to order it…as we were going to eat, he took his portion and put it in the fridge because he was going to cool it down and eat it…sigh…it was unfortunate

🐶 on the day i hung out with ricky, we went to the same bbq restaurant (we usually go to as a group), and since i’m always the one who orders the food, these people don’t know how much they’re actually eating! ricky was like “i want to eat this too, and that too, and this too-”so i was like “ricky-ya… that’s way more than you normally eat!” but he was like, “oh, it’s okay!” so i was like “no, it’s not okay! just eat this first, and you can order more after you finish it” this is something my dad used to say that i hated the most, but now i’m saying it too.. “finish this and then we’ll order more” when he’s not even going to let me order more 😒 so i ordered it, but in the end, he ate more than usual and there were only two pieces of meat left! he still ate the rest pretty well though. so i was like “ ricky, look! there’s some left, right? but you ate well today!” and ricky went, “☺️ ^^” with ricky’s own little signature smile!
