What does it feel like to realize that, in your little boy’s eyes, you are one of the most important people in the entire world? There's something special about having a young son who looks up to you as a dad. At that age, Dad can seem almost larger than life. He is the guy who can fix things, reach the high shelf, carry the heavy stuff, answer the impossible questions, and somehow make an ordinary afternoon feel like an adventure. And half the time, he probably has no idea just how closely his son is watching him. A little boy does not need his dad to be perfect. He just wants to be around him. He wants to follow him around the house, help with whatever he is doing, wear his old hat, imitate the way he talks, and eventually say, “Dad, can I come with you?” The little moments can seem insignificant when they happen, are sometimes the moments that fathers remember years later. There is also something humbling about knowing that your son is learning what it means to be a man partly by watching you. How you treat your wife, how you handle frustration, how you keep your word, how you treat strangers, how you respond when things go wrong. He may not understand all of it yet, but he is taking it in. And maybe that is one of the greatest joys of being a father. You get to watch a little boy who thinks you can do anything slowly grow into a young man who understands that you are human after all, while still carrying some of the lessons and memories you gave him along the way. One day, he may not need you to carry him anymore, but he will always remember the years when being carried by Dad made him feel like everything was going to be alright. T/W: suicide, eating disorders I’m self-conscious about how I look. I get criticism on every move I make both publicly and privately. Every time I take an action I hear the potential criticism in my head… but I do it anyway. The criticism does always come. I get criticism on my body too. I can love myself at any size, but the never ending pressure to please everyone and to try to be so strong people can’t criticize me is tiring. Sometimes I wonder if my problems are really my own. When I’m alone, I only have love for myself without an ounce of shame or self-hatred. I like myself and who I see in the mirror. But hate and criticism can eat away at you. “Are they right?” “Should I really be eating that?” “People will judge me.” I’ve never recognized a negative voice in my mind as mine. I can’t think of one person who would say I’m the negative voice in their head either. But the negative voice in my head has left me suicidal before. I don’t hate myself. But sometimes people treat me like they hate me. It’s hard not to internalize it. Today, I want to remind you- you don’t have to hate yourself even when the world treats you like they hate you. It’s safe to make mistakes. It’s safe to love yourself and your body even when others laugh at you. Every time I get a message about how someone loves their body a little more after reading my messages, it reminds me why I keep opening my heart. It’s hope. We all need hope. I hope you choose to appreciate your body today ✨ it and you are beautiful

IMO… One of the most annoying sayings golfers say after a poor shot is… “Ah, I was too quick, I rushed my swing” Right… & tell me how you can quantify that please. How do you KNOW that’s what caused your poor shot there? Here’s the new kid Jackson Koivun going for a par 5 in 2 from 305y away Now if my eyes are seeing what you are seeing… he looks pretty damn QUICK in transition does he not? So if he was to hit a poor shot here, was it because he was “quick”? Did he “rush” his swing? So if being quick doesn’t cause him to hit a poor shot here… how are you sure that’s what has caused your poor shot? I want you to think more critically when assessing what went wrong after a poor shot. “I got quick” is not possible to quantify IMO What about the arc height? Club path? Club face? Strike location? Those can all be quantified Understand what actually causes your poor shots, don’t resort to “I got quick” or “I rushed it”… those are bogus terms IMO Happy Sunday 🙂👊🏼

#MHA I'm pretty sure y'all can guess who's in the quotes making excuses for his bullying and abusive behavior not getting addressed by adults. Notice how the majority of my criticism in that post isn't towards Bakugo's arc but instead the teachers. There's no reason his "fans" should be getting offended for Bakugo like I'm undermining his amazing character development or something. Infact him getting a sit down talk back in S2 would've made his progression even more natural and cohesive. Instead it had to happen after a huge fight and only then did All Might finally talk with them...in late S3 At least he acknowledged his own failure as a teacher in that moment for neglecting Bakugo, better than Aizawa who's actually been a teacher for a while lol. Also idk what tf that dumbass quote was talking about "Y'all just pissy because his personality didn't make a full 180 fast" as if that was mentioned anywhere in my post lmao Btw full grown adults who are responsible for the safety of kids allowing one of them to physically assault another unprovoked because it was part of the exam for them to get "along" is not a good counterpoint especially when no one talked to him about it afterwards.
