At the G20 Innovation Ministerial, Jensen Huang joined U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to discuss the infrastructure the Intelligence Age requires. A gigawatt-scale AI factory is a $50–60 billion investment. At that cost, the architecture cannot be so specialized that a change in models or algorithms renders it obsolete. It has to be fungible. It has to be durable. And it has to keep improving through software.

That will be true very quickly for jobs that are digital, or really anything that involves a person at a computer or on a phone. AI will be able to do all of that very soon. For software engineering, we already have a situation where AI is better than at least 90% of humans at writing software, including 90% of professional software engineers. It really is getting to the point where it will be better than 99%, and then it will get to the point where there’s just no way to compete. It will get to what I call Stockfish level. Stockfish is a chess program that is so good at chess that it will easily beat Magnus Carlsen, or anyone, even while running on a small computer. I will NOT take the brain chip.

There will be a moment when companies are able to monetize AI to where capex costs are absorbed. In terms of the ability to monetize AI, this is being proven as we speak with OpenAI exhibiting the fastest run rate from $0 to $20 billion in all of tech’s history. I joined Bloomberg Technology to discuss how the incoming AI monetization wave can help absorb elevated capex costs, and how the AI accelerator market will widen beyond Nvidia $NVDA and benefit other firms such as Broadcom $AVGO.

Nvidia CEO: AIs are recursively self-improving. We are "obviously" less than 5 years from AGI. INTERVIEWER: People talk about AGI. Do you think in 10 years from now we're there? JENSEN HUANG: Depending on how you define it, I think the answer is yes. And so the question is, what is AGI? If we define AGI as a piece of software, a computer that can take a whole bunch of tests. And these tests reflect basic intelligence, and by completing those tests, deliver results that are fairly competitive to a normal human? I would say that within the next five years, you're going to see, obviously, AIs that can achieve those tests. AIs are designing AIs: INTERVIEWER: And design the chips that you're making right now? JENSEN HUANG: Yeah. INTERVIEWER: Will you need to have the same staff that designs them? JENSEN HUANG: In fact, none of our chips are possible today without AI. Literally. The H100s we're shipping today was designed with the assistance of a whole lot of AIs. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to cram so many transistors on a chip or optimize the algorithms to the level that we have. Software can't be written without AI, chips can't be designed without AI. Nothing's possible.

Nvidia just made its biggest acquisition ever... A small startup. On Christmas Eve. While everyone was distracted. The startup is Groq. They make AI chips that run faster than Nvidia's. In September, Groq raised $750 million at a $6.9 billion valuation. Investors included BlackRock, Samsung, Cisco, and Donald Trump Jr.'s fund 1789 Capital. Yesterday, Nvidia paid $20 billion for them. That's a 3x markup in 90 days. Trump Jr. just made a fortune overnight. But the money isn't even the craziest part... Nvidia dominates AI chips. They have 90%+ market share. All of big tech depends on them. So why would they pay 3X for a tiny competitor? Let me explain: Groq was building inference chips that threatened Nvidia's monopoly. Faster processing. Lower costs. Better architecture. If Groq succeeded, they'd crack open the market. So Nvidia did what monopolies always do: bought them before they became a threat. They're buying silence - not innovation. And this isn't a one-off. In September, Nvidia spent $900 million on Enfabrica, another AI chip startup. Same playbook. They committed $100 billion to OpenAI with a requirement that OpenAI deploy 10 gigawatts of Nvidia products. Now $20 billion for Groq. Nvidia isn't competing anymore. They're consolidating. They're using their cash pile to swallow every potential rival before they grow. The founder and CEO of Groq, Jonathan Ross, is joining Nvidia. So is the president and the entire leadership team. Groq's cloud business will keep running independently. But the tech, the IP, the competitive advantage? All Nvidia's now. This is the largest acquisition Nvidia has EVER made. Their previous record was $7 billion for Mellanox in 2019. They just tripled that. And nobody's questioning why. Everyone's celebrating "innovation" and "consolidation" and "strategic partnerships." But what actually happened is this: Nvidia looked at the one company that could challenge their monopoly and paid whatever it took to kill them. $20 billion is cheap insurance when you're worth trillions. The only question left is who's next.

Here I’m trying to explain in simple Hindi, what Elon Musk has unveiled yesterday at Terafab Elon has unveiled madness of dreams.. this guy is crazy… the only person who still believes in massive grand scale level ideas… yesterday he’s unveiled Terafab.. to make so many computer chips that can’t even be consumed on earth… So, he’ll send them in space.. on his SpaceX rockets along with his Optimus robots where they will harness minerals of moon, mars, mercury and create so many more factories in space that will further make many more robots, chips, rockets, and satellites… These satellites will then form a covering around Sun (called Dyson Swarm), and will capture a lot of its energy there, sending it back to places where that energy might be required Elon says that in 50 years, humans will become intergalactic That they will leave earth forever He intends to use this much energy to create a super AI (called Matrioshka brain) so powerful that it could be the most intelligent thing in the entire universe… Possibly the start of creation of GOD 🙌
