I feel this. I started my career in a couple startups and then worked as a consultant alone and then with friends. When we started our family I went from working independently to a job for income stability. As the main provider for our family I haven’t had the freedom my wife has had.

i needed that thanks a lot. i was in depression in the last 2 days bc of things don't go well in my company. I think i will be fired on Monday morning. I think it is better for me to get fired. in that way, i can go to another companies and start my own company while doing so.

Sage advice and those days of staying with one company for your entire working life are over with millennials and Gen Z.
