#WATCH | Delhi | Judge dies by suicide in Safdarjung | Father-in-law of Judge Aman Kumar Sharma's sister says, "... I spoke to my son on the call who told me that they are taking Aman to Safdarjung Hospital. By the time I reached the hospital, the doctor had already declared him dead... As per the statement given by his father to the Police, around 10 pm last night, Aman had called him saying that he was distressed and it had become difficult for him to continue living. His father departed from Alwar right then and reached here around 12 in the night. Upon arriving, he learned that Aman had been having conflicts with his wife. He told his father that he had been harassed for the last two months. His wife (Swati) is a judicial officer, and her sister is an IAS officer (Nidhi Malik) currently posted in Jammu. According to Aman, Nidhi Malik had been interfering in his life, and she was controlling his household... Aman's father said that his daughter-in-law told him that if you don't leave from here, she would call the police... The next morning, Aman's father tried to contact his daughter-in-law's parents, but they had blocked his phone... Then an argument broke out in the house. So Aman's father went to the other room. According to him, Swati was extremely angry and shouting, while Aman was crying. After a while, the noise stopped. He waited for a while, thinking that the argument had been resolved. When he went to check up on them after some time, he asked Swati about Aman's whereabouts, to which she replied that she did not know. .. When he called Aman's mobile, he heard it ringing inside the bathroom. He knocked on the bathroom door and asked him to open the door. During this, Yudhvir (Swati's chacha) and Nidhi Malik arrived. They tried a lot, banged the furniture against the door, but the door didn't open. Then the neighbours told them that there was a window in the shaft. So they got a ladder. The guard Shankar climbed the ladder, broke the window and entered the bathroom. He found Aman hanging... Aman was 30 years old..."

“I am Trapped, Can’t Talk Now” - Twisha’s last heartbreaking message As the Twisha Sharma case continues to spark outrage in Bhopal, her cousin Meenakshi Sharma has now come forward with an emotional testimony, claiming she was among the last people to speak to Twisha before her death. According to Meenakshi, Twisha had been opening up to her for weeks about the alleged harassment she was facing inside her marital home. She claims Twisha repeatedly said she was being mentally tortured, abused, denied food, and isolated. “She was messaging me for almost a month… she kept saying she was trapped,” Meenakshi alleged. Twisha Sharma — a former Miss Pune, MBA graduate, former employee at a German company, and sister of a Major in the Indian army — allegedly lost nearly 15 kilos in just five months, according to her family. Meenakshi also questioned the suicide narrative, alleging that visible injury marks were found on Twisha’s body, including marks near her neck, ears, hands, and feet. The case has triggered widespread anger after allegations surfaced that Twisha was repeatedly humiliated by her in-laws, called degrading names, and pressured over pregnancy and finances. Her husband, advocate Samarth Singh, has been accused by the family of harassment and is reportedly absconding, while his mother — a retired district court judge — is also among the accused. The grieving family says they are still struggling to get justice, alleging delays in police action and claiming they had to sit for hours at the police station before their complaint was heard.

VIDEO | Delhi: On a letter sent to the CJI against the former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal over contempt of court, Advocate Dr. Monika Sharma says, “See, we wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of India stating the following. We stated that a very unfortunate incident has happened. Now, what is the incident? The incident is that a person who got discharged from the CBI court, good for him, when the CBI challenged the case in the High Court and certain interim directions were passed by the High Court, he said, ‘No, no, no, I don’t like those interim directions.’ So he neither appealed against that order nor filed a review or revision, but he said, ‘Change the judge, change the bench, change the court.’ And he came out openly in public about it. It was all over the media that he was saying that this judge should not hear my case and some other judge should hear my case. Now, litigants cannot decide which judge will hear their case. It is the Chief Justice of the respective High Court who decides the roster, which judge will hear civil matters and which judge will hear criminal matters. Now here he says, ‘No, no, you change the judge.’ So the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court says, ‘No, there is no reason to change the judge. We are not changing the judge.’ He goes to the Supreme Court and files a petition saying, ‘Change the judge.’ Now you see, this is a very, very dangerous trend, not only for the judicial system but for our democracy. Now here, if you don’t like the order, you’re not challenging the order, you’re challenging the judge. And that too, you’re publicly humiliating and embarrassing the judge, that is wrong. So the number of people who have signed this letter, they are former and present vice-chancellors, IPS officers, lawyers, senior advocates, bar members, the High Court Bar Association’s former president, secretary, everybody has signed this letter saying this is a wrong precedent. It undermines the status, it undermines the dignity of the judiciary. Judicial officers should be allowed to work without any political pressure, without any pressure tactics. This amounts to forum shopping and bench hunting. This should be discouraged, and this is criminal contempt of court because you are attributing motives to the judge. So we have requested the Chief Justice of India to suo motu initiate criminal contempt proceedings against this person."

Judge Phahlane unprovoked, allegedly conceded that indeed when allegations of her being bribed were made it was November 2021, in her own words the case didn’t exist until she was appointed in May 2022. Now the anonymous tip off which was explicit in its nature detailing the name of the judge who is bribed and the involvement of the Judge President Dustan Mlambo in this conspiracy of defeating the end of justice is made before she is appointed as detailed in a letter addressed to the Justice cluster including the Chief justice Raymond Zondo. The million dollar question is whether the whistle-blower he or she is a prophet or a time traveller who went to the future from November 2021 and saw the appointment in May 2022. When this concessions were made by the Judge unprovoked we set back with hope that the Judge President will act on this serious allegations giving him the benefit of doubt that he forms no part in this shenanigans, his silence can only mean that Judge Phahlane was correct when she mentioned to the Murder and fraud accused Bhekumuzi Sandlana that the Judge president is her friend she will ask him to allocate the case of IPHC succession to her. Mr Ndala by January 2022 as he was aware of the route the case will take he went and made a press briefing intimating that he know when the case will commence and by dawn of 2022 it would have been concluded. The question is how many cases which Judge Phahlane presided over and ruled unfairly in favour of those who may have put a price for her to turn a blind eye. What is the extent of her friend the Judge president involvement in this allegations. The clips and the anonymous letter are self-explanatory for the country to make their own judgement.
