Where's the metal sinks? Porcelain toilets? Refridgerators. Metal tool boxes. Bricks? Wood stoves? If it's hot enough to melt all that stuff... It's hot enough to torch all the trees imo. This is whack in every place it's happened.

Every time I see this. I want to hurry and paint my roof blue for some reason.

Is this footage legit? Because coming from Alberta, Canada we've seen major fires in Ft. McMurray, Slave Lake, Jasper, and elsewhere and the fires are devastating, to be sure, but they aren't uniform and don't burn EVERY house to the foundation. Just asking.

I really don’t understand how we don’t fireproof neighborhoods. I get it. You have to cut down a lot of trees and move a lot of brush around, but isn’t the slight damage to nature worth it

Seeing entire neighborhoods reduced to ash in a matter of hours is just brutal. The speed of these interface fires leaves almost no time to react. Hoping emergency crews can get a handle on the containment lines before any more lives and homes are upended.

We do not have Tornadoes, Hurricanes, poisonous anything but mother nature still rules with ice and fire. At this point no confirmed human deaths. Regardless of how it started or how it will end, someone or some department was on the ball here and got people out of harms way.

So sad. We need to start preparing for these. Establish desalination centers for fire water use. Have military available to be called on for operational assistance. Of course going green would help, but a little late now. Now we need better counter action readably available.

I live 13 miles north of Superior and Louisville, Colorado, where the Marshall Fire occurred from Dec 30, 2021, to Jan 1, 2022. 1,100 homes were lost. Although many homes have been rebuilt over time, there are still empty lots with “For Sale” signs. It takes years to reclaim.😢

Seeing entire blocks completely wiped out from the air really puts the scale of destruction into perspective. When fires move this fast through residential areas, first responders are fighting an impossible battle. Hope everyone managed to get out safely.
