This is a perfect example of the Dunning Kruger effect. You are so obsessed with your outcome that you can’t comprehend basic concepts. Funny when Flerths think they know more about aviation than pilots 😂

Dave this has been explained to you thousands of times so at this point you're just an imbecile and that's not fixable

Don't be stupid Dave. Flight plans prove Earth is a globe. This is why you and every other flat Earther is afraid to debate me on the topic. I just offered to debate trips, he panicked and blocked me. LOL.

Planes don't get to the equator by "flying down," you loonbags, their flight is relative to and through the atmosphere.

You’re an idiot dave. It’s the only thing you have evidence for.

I have been offering to debate Dave for years on the topic of flight planning. He won't accept. He runs every time because he knows there is no alternative to the Globe for flight planning. Aircraft gyroscopes correct for Earth curve. Dave knows this. He is just dishonest.

Brilliant, FE can’t even describe a sunrise / set without breaking the way light works, but suddenly complex physics like flight mechanics can be explained. Keep up the grift Dave, you’ll need everything you can after your data breach fine from the make believe app comes through

Omg…dumbest thing I ever saw..you realize you can fly a plane completely around the earth and come back to your exact spot…why don’t you try it..

🥱 Aeronautics prove beyond all doubt the earth is a sphere

Hey when is your app going to stop leaking personal information? I've been having fun looking at the people near me that eat crayons.

A plane going 500 mph would only have to change its tilt 1° every 8 minutes. And it does so naturally anyway, to preserve maximum aerodynamic lift and not stall. Try it in a bathtub, try to make your rubber ducky tilt back. You can't, it rights itself. Moron.

I'm sorry but this is dumb af. There's no way this is a serious argument.

Ermmmm nope... Aeronautics does no such thing.. and I don't think you are qualified to say that anyway.

The problem I have with this argument is that the attitude gyro has a weight built into it to bias the gyro to level ground in other words it's not perfectly balanced. This is so it can self correct in the event that turbulence knocks it of sync.

That’s…. Not true! Planes would fly the same on both models. Except you’d be able to receive VOR signals from anywhere. Says right in training, “signal may not receive until you get highly enough due up earth curve”. Ha

Dave is too dumb to be a pilot. We have established this long ago haven't we Dave?

That plane is the size of the USA

No, it just proves that you don't understand auronautics or physics in general. The downward directional force of gravity also "curves" around the Earth (ie towards the center, but not in the same direction relative to space from where you started) & the air mass is curved too.

There are many markers on the artificial horizon, one of them shows the horizon below level, 2-3 degrees, when at high altitudes.

The gyro has a mechanism to keep it oriented in the direction of gravity.

I don’t think aeroplanes are as big as the ones shown in that image, mate.

When you totally misunderstand the thing you're watching and basic physics, you get people like @FlatEarthDaveX who are so #ProudToBeStupid they'll post it online like this!

Interesting. How do flat earthers argue against the globers 1 degree/60nm rule? ⚡️Publius🔥

Now do the same for a plane flying west on a flat earth.

An attitude indicator is weighted like a grandfather clock pendulum. The gyro gives it stability so not to swing all over the place. a gyro used in an attitude indicator has not got rigidity in space. Gyros with rigidity in space are uncompensated, will have rigidity in space

Or...that we live on the crust of a dirt/water filled topographical bowl. turns out, water turns up and out. I could of been sold on the "flat experts" convincing me not to trust my senses in terms of the boats floating over "refraction" vs the container being bowlshaped and arching up....but You are going to have a much harder time selling me that refraction makes the pilots have to be consistently nose up. I wonder, the closer they get to the 60+ parallel, is there a higher the degree of pitch over the water? Im starting to like this whole, we live on the spikey crust, in a frosty edged bowl, encapsulated by a solid "molten glass" egg, under the "sea" [waters], controlled and powered by a divine designer. @My_TeslaModelS 😬😬😬😬

Locally level and continuously curved, Dave… Because if A is level to B is level to C, if they’re far enough apart, A isn’t level with C anymore, or is that A is level to C but they’re no longer level to B. 👍

Those attitude indicators also include a mechanism in the gyro that includes a weight. The local horizon indicator places the local horizon perpendicular to the direction the weight is accelerating towards (downward). IF the earth was flat, this mechanism would be unnecessary.
