Peter Steinberger Quietly Started A Shift That Makes Claude 35x Cheaper To Run The way Claude Code talks to tools matters more than people think. Most use MCP, and it quietly eats tokens, it loads everything into context every time, even tools you never call. One benchmark: MCP burned 35x more tokens than a CLI on the same task. Peter Steinberger, the OpenClaw guy, got annoyed by this and started building lean CLIs himself. That kicked off a tool called Printing Press. You point Claude Code at any website, even ones with no API like ESPN or Craigslist, and it builds a small command tool for it in about 10 minutes. In one demo, a request pulled 132,000 tokens of raw data, but the tool processed it locally and only handed Claude a 2,000-token summary. The rest never touched the context window. It also comes with ~50 ready-made tools you can grab right away. To start, point Claude Code at the links from and ask it to set it up. Bookmark this.

I found Claude Cowork to be too expensive So i asked Claude Code to build me a better version with Composio tool router It can: - access local files and your terminal via claude code - connect and use 500+ apps like gmail, outlook, slack on demand - chain actions across local files and cloud apps in one flow In the demo we use it to scan through my laptop and find all my unfinished projects and put them in a notion database with completion status. excited to see more usecases link:

So it starts to feel less like “is the model good enough?” and more like “is the workflow slowing it down?” That’s where WozCode comes in. It helps streamline sessions, less repetition, smarter batching of tool calls, and tighter context usage so you can actually get more work done within the same limits. I tried to see how far I could push my current AI + 3D workflow and build a playable 3D game prototype in just 3 days😶 Not by asking AI to make the whole game in one prompt. I had my own idea, knew what I wanted to build, and used AI as a tool: - for concepting, - asset generation & texturing, - gameplay logic with the new UE 5.8 MCP + Claude Code.
