AFL Live 2004 (2003)

Plot twist: This is real footage of Essendon this year.

back when afl games were actually decent

when i was a kid I used to just grab the ball out of the ruck and kick goals from the centre square with Ben Graham

Still better than afl 26

Loved this game! SuperKick made for a fantastic drinking game!

I bought this bs like the 2024 and 2025 and basically the same. AFL such hard game to make. Would dream of bigger studio making it. EA if had Aussie studio and Aussie AFL fans and fanatics that just know more and about the game. I'd actually say if they had really in depth career mode. From playing SANFL, WAFL AND VIC LEAGUE Then get drafted on state games also along with stats in league 2 games maybe they could do? Then yeah then into AFL and all th rules then ask get back home if get drafted by team don't like. I think sell massively. Since such interesting game and you do so much in a career. Don't make it lowest grade you need little more push boundaries, make story better, game more rougher with tackles, bumps etc. Put GF norm Smith cut scene and many more along way to cut scenes along the way, like young lad at div two team to getting state games to drafted to first team and more. Never will happen. But that would be only way could become MAYBE massive.

@OldTimer1969 @rhys_33 @TheWorm_90

Bruce: i think ESSENDON should easily win this one Dennis: I disagree, i'm going with THE BOMBERS

@Passive_Dobbo @BrettBr58370122 looks better, plays better than that garbage @BigAntStudios puts out 😅

Miles better than the crap from Big Crap Studios

What a game.

@Jaka_bowski imagine this at warradale

I used to love this game

I've never played the 2004 edition of AFL Live, but the Premiership Edition that was released a year later was a fixed version of the previous title, but with the updated 2004 roster. AFL Live 2004 was littered with gitches that are fixed in the next game in the series.

I still fire up my og xbox to play this sometimes

Nah - this was the best.

Barnard should’ve been pinged there 👀

Would take it straight out of the ruck, bomb it forward, mark directly in front and kick a goal, I’d be up 150 points at qtr time 😂 ‘putting on a clinic’ was engrained in my brain for so long

I reckon I played 100 hours of this game.

That looks like the most frustrating game to play I've ever seen, what absolute trash.

@DanielCherny Best afl game I’ve ever played by miles

Essendon have never looked so lively

ahhh i played this so much

Xbox with a banger
