I was able to see this show in August. It was amazingly well done and the cast was brilliant. Everyone apart of this show should be proud of the work they did.

BREAKING.🚨 Judge Tanya Chutkan *BLOCKS* the Trump team's attempt to get classified records in the January 6 case. The D.C. circuit judge also appeared to shield records on General Milley's concession that Donald Trump did seek enhanced security for the 2020 election certification. In a footnote in the legal document it notes: "Defendant argues that he is entitled to additional, classified records based on a statement General Milley made to the Committee, offering to disclose additional, classified records. But Defendant proffers no evidence that the Committee ever received those records, much less that the Special Counsel’s Office had access to them, or that those records would be material to this case." However, Judge Chutkan did authorize a search for specific records pertaining to Donald Trump's security meeting with Gen. Mark Milley and former Sec. of Defense Christopher Miller. "As noted, there is one exception. Defendant cites a public report that includes General Mark Milley’s recollection of a meeting he had a few days before January 6 with Defendant and the Acting Secretary of Defense, Christopher C. Miller. "According to the report, the meeting’s 'primary topic ... was unrelated to the scheduled rally,' but... ...at the end of the meeting, the President told Mr. Miller that there would be a large number of protestors on January 6, 2021, and Mr. Miller should ensure sufficient National Guard or Soldiers would be there to make sure it was a safe event. . . Mr. Miller responded, “We’ve got a plan and we’ve got it covered.” It turns out, the Pentagon did have a plan. But that plan wasn't to secure the Capitol on January 6. "Accordingly, the court will order the Government to search for and produce any additional records within its possession concerning information about security measures that was conveyed to Defendant during his meeting with General Milley and Acting Secretary Miller." The J6 judge rejected most of the Trump legal team's demands for exculpatory evidence on the basis that its requests were "speculative" and placed the burden on the defense to prove Brady rule violations. "Defendant contends that the Government has failed to comply with its discovery obligations under Brady and Rule 16," the lawsuit states. The judge further bats down the Trump legal team's requests on the basis that, "Five of the fourteen categories of information Defendant seeks specifically request discrete, identified documents. The remaining nine categories are generic requests for 'all information' or 'evidence' relating to certain topics. As explained below, Defendant has only carried his burden with respect to a small portion of the information he seeks. For most of it, he has proffered only speculation that a search will yield material, noncumulative information." Chutkan subsequently shoots down requests for the following types of information: • 2016 Election Intelligence Community Assessment • 2020 Election DOJ-DHS Report • DNI records (Jencks Act material) • J6 Responsibility Statements • J6 Select Committee • CIA records • Feds working the capitol on J6 The production of these classified documents could further confirm Trump's desire to enhance capitol security for the election certification, which would prove to be another massive blow to the media's J6 narrative.

THE POST OFFICE DESTROYED HUNDREDS OF LIVES. DID IT ALSO PUT AN INNOCENT MAN AWAY FOR MURDER? Paul Bourne from Linkedin brought this story to me this week. Paul, I owe you one for this. Robin Garbutt woke up on 23 March 2010 and went to open his Post Office like any other morning. By the end of that day, his wife Diana was dead. He was a suspect. Within a year, he was in prison for life. He has been there ever since. Robin says what happened that morning was this. An armed man broke in. Forced him at gunpoint to open the safe and hand over £16,000. Robin was powerless. He ran upstairs after the man left and found Diana bludgeoned to death in their bed. The police did not believe him. Prosecutors built a case around one central idea. Robin had been stealing from the Post Office. Diana found out. He killed her to keep her quiet and staged the robbery to cover his tracks. The theft evidence came from Horizon. The same IT system that fabricated shortfalls in hundreds of Post Office branches across the country. The same system that saw innocent sub-postmasters prosecuted, bankrupted, and driven to suicide. The system that the courts have since described as one of the worst miscarriages of justice in British legal history. Robin was never actually charged with theft. Not once. A former Fujitsu employee has since come forward and confirmed the Horizon data used at his trial had been compromised. The Post Office knew it. There was no DNA on the murder weapon. A clump of unidentified hair found at the scene was never tested. It disappeared. Police admitted that was a serious professional failure. The pathology evidence on the time of death has been challenged by independent experts. What the prosecution had was a theory. Built on a broken computer. Presented to a jury who had no reason to doubt the Post Office. Robin has appealed four times. The CCRC has said no four times. A Sky documentary aired Christmas 2025. Former sub-postmasters who were themselves destroyed by Horizon are now publicly demanding he gets a retrial. Lee Castleton OBE is one of them. Empowering the Innocent (ETI) and The Justice Gap @justicegap.bsky.social have both covered this case in depth. A new CCRC case manager has been appointed. Robin is 60 years old. He has been inside for 15 years. His family have spent 15 years fighting for him. His sister says he does not want early release. He wants to stand in court, face the evidence, and prove he is innocent. That is not what a guilty man asks for. The Post Office corrupted evidence. The prosecution used that evidence to convict a man of murder. The body that is supposed to correct miscarriages of justice has blocked him at every turn. If the system was this broken for hundreds of financial cases, what makes anyone confident it worked properly in this one?

For the second straight year, an album I heard in March blew me away, and ran away with this title. The Red Herring for 2024 ALBUM OF THE YEAR GOES TO… Boundaries’ “Death Is Little More” 💿Released: March 29 Top 3 tracks: 🎤Easily Erased 🎤Turning Hate Into Rage 🎤Darkness Shared I loved a LOT of records this year. I really did. But this record has finished as my album of the year by a wide margin. Boundaries is yet another band that I’ve seen grow over the years from a little Connecticut band, to now being on some MASSIVE tours. They are a band essentially built for me. Their breakthrough to me, was 2022’s “Burying Brightness.” That was their spring board that really helped them find their sound. And after they learned to walk, THIS album has them SPRINTING. This is one of the most aggressive records of the year, and it’s admirable but what I love most is the touches of melody they have now spread throughout the record. Songs like Easily Erased and Scars on a Soul are two that feel like they could have been standard boundaries song, but those small touches thrown in have made them into masterpieces. Blames Burden featuring Markus Vik from Invent Animate sees the band taking a somewhat new direction too, and really comes with a surprise left hook towards the end of this album, just when you thought you had it figured out. The classic Boundaries sound, combined with these new touches have made for an outstanding album worthy of being worn like a badge of honor by the members of this band.

Back in 2024, just a month after HYBE’s audit, and while Hyein was still recovering from an injury, NewJeans kicked off a packed, week-long run of university festival performances. They started on May 25 at Korea University, then headed to Chosun University on the 27th, where they drew a massive crowd of 45,000 people. From there, they performed at Dong-eui University and Pusan National University on the 28th, Dongguk University and Sejong University on the 30th, and wrapped things up at Chung-Ang University on the 31st. At every stop, they delivered high-energy stages, performing their new songs “How Sweet” and “Bubble Gum” alongside a lineup of their biggest hits, and the crowd response was huge throughout. Looking back, ADOR and NewJeans shared, “We received tremendous energy and so much love while performing at seven university festivals over the course of a week. We wanted to give back the love we received to college students who need support, and we’re grateful to have been given this opportunity.” And they followed through on that. While the performances helped them sharpen their skills on stage and promote their new music, all proceeds were donated to the Korea Student Aid Foundation to support low-income students, covering essentials like living expenses and housing. The foundation expressed its gratitude, saying it will do its best to help students in difficult situations continue their studies, and that it hopes this kind of generosity will inspire a lasting cycle of giving.
