After $6,500 in API credits and 25,000 people playing the first version in 24 hours, NEW RAD CITY is here. Everything you see is made with @Threejs and only 22mb in size. (Plus I want to build the rest of the world with you!) Play it here:

I'm releasing an early alpha so people can play it first and explore the city. Play it, tell me what's broken or what could be better, and help shape what this world turns into. Join our Group Chat to build this game together:

"It looks like shit!" well, it's only 22mb and has: - 1780 textures generated by code - 117 unique locations - 270 named characters with dialogue - 294 dialogue trees - 36 main quests - 108 side quests

Say you suggest something for the story and we add it. You'll be credited as a Writer in the game's credits. There are so many ways to contribute. Pitch new locations, submit bugs, anything. We'll find a way to get you involved and a credit given.

I'm thinking about getting voice acting going for the characters. Would people be interested in doing that? It would make the game bigger, but I think it would be really cool.

I also have original music I want to add. But that'll roughly double the file size, so it won't be the tiny 20-something MB game it is now.

@threejs This is insane mate huge congrats

@threejs Thanks dude! It was a lot of fun playing with Claude working on this. It is DEF incomplete, but a cool project.

@jeantimex @threejs Wow - would love to know how you got the city to this level of detail!

@jeantimex @threejs The base prompt I did gave me the city layout in the first pass and I fine tuned it after expanding POI’s while also making the streets more detailed.

@threejs Can’t wait to dive in tonight!

@threejs Thanks dude!

@threejs Love this Vibe!!

@threejs Blast Door pass, please. It looks amazing, honestly I played it for a while. The 6K is wild! I’m curious how you kept the process consistent without running into the usual fix one side, break the other part problem.

@threejs I ran @mattshumer_’s Gauntlet Loop for about two three days to give me the base level quality of the game. Then did the patch and fix improving things. I plan on re-enabling this loop again to improve visuals and other features evenly.

@threejs Nothing against AI generated stuff but this is just slop...

@threejs or maybe merge it with my cyberpunk city (it has hot pursuits too)

@threejs Share github

@threejs Why API credits and not a $200 plan? (Or multiple)

@threejs That‘s great.

@threejs Unbelievably amazing! How did you draw the street so perfectly? I guess some Blender work is required? Huge congrats!

@threejs why use api credits instead of a subscription?

@threejs Well done you legend!

@threejs Did you spend all that money and time on a game and make a generic single prompt Suno song? I can hear “simple mode” lyrics a mile away

@threejs So thats what happened to Fallout New York

@threejs 1- Necesita una animacion de carga que no dependa del proceso principal así no parece que este atascado al cargar el juego. 2- No puedo poner pantalla completa con f11 3- El valor inicial de la musica deberia de ser al rededor del 30%

@threejs 👍

@threejs freezes a lot during CALIBRATING VIGIL OPTICS

@threejs It’s rendering every texture there as the textures are painted at load time. Need to figure out a better load method.

@threejs I'll have to check this out. It's good to see another huge and ambitious project like this using AI. I'm just hesitant to release any of my ideas until it's finished.

@threejs Open source?

@threejs Nice we should merge it with my cyberpunk NYC game

Very cool. I've been building a simulator for camping in the national forest using real topo and campsite data. You can open the location in Google Maps or on my American Adventurer website for real-time details. I don't have $6500 to put into my game, but I do max out my Claude and Grok subscriptions. Opus 5.5 orchestrates, Sonnet, and Grok code. Opus tests and deploys. We are running small but 24/7. We use Three.js, and 22 MB is our sweet spot as well. Congrats on your game.

@threejs wow

@threejs Hoooowwww is it only 22mb??!

@threejs Wow. can u share the workflow? Did u start in blender?

@threejs Nope, all @threejs.

@threejs And I’ll share a breakdown soon!
