After 75 years, Sergeant First Class Jack Benton Baker is finally home. 🇺🇸 This video shows the quiet, powerful moment of his return — a flag-draped transfer in a hangar, honor guards standing ready, a young American hero whose long journey back to Illinois soil is finally complete. At... just 19 years old, on July 25, 1950, near Yeongdong, South Korea, Sgt. Baker voluntarily led five soldiers in an assault against a North Korean machine-gun position that had pinned down friendly forces. For that act of courage under fire, he earned the Silver Star. A few weeks later, his unit was cut off, forced into desperate hut-to-hut combat, and overwhelmed. He was reported missing in action. He was never seen again. In 1953 the Army issued a presumptive finding of death. For more than seven decades his family carried the weight of unanswered questions. Through the painstaking work of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency and modern forensic science, his remains were identified in 2025. This week he came home. We honor Sergeant First Class Jack Benton Baker because he answered the call when his country needed him, because he showed extraordinary bravery at an age when most are still finding their way, and because the sacred American promise is that we leave no one behind — not on the battlefield, and not in history. United States Army Air Forces Staff Sgt. Loring E. Lord, who was killed during World War II and was reported Missing in Action (MIA) for almost 80 years, is finally home. Staff Sgt. Reza Pahlavi, for all intents and purposes, does not owe us anything. His family built Iran from zero. When I say zero, I mean zero. A weak, fragmented Qajar state, one in which women could not leave the house without a man. One in which Iran’s internal affairs were completely controlled by outsiders. One in which foreign armies seized our lands to feed their troops while half our population died of famine. A country without an army, without national infrastructure, without sovereignty over its own resources. And I can go on, and on, and on. In return, we Iranians repaid their blood, sweat, and tears with one of the greatest treacheries imaginable in modern history. His grandfather, arguably one of the greatest men in Iran’s history, his tomb was levelled to the ground. His father was forced to leave the country he loved more than anything in the world. One could say it was not his illness that killed him, but the knife we put in his back, the betrayal of a nation he had dedicated his life to. Reza Pahlavi’s friends and family who remained in Iran were murdered, one by one, at the hands of the regime WE enabled. An entire generation around him was hunted, imprisoned, executed, or driven into exile. His sister and brother, unable to bear the weight of exile and the destruction of everything they had known, took their own lives. Reza Pahlavi has the money. He could have chosen a quiet life, a life of comfort and distance, far from the insults, the threats, the endless character assassination. On the evening of 14th Sep he called his uncle and told him that the wife of the colonel at whose house he is posted as a House Help under Buddy system of Army is going to murder him. After three days the family received a call from SM of the unit who informed them that they are sending the dead body of Amit to Jammu. The family received the Body on 19th Sep and even now no one from the Army bothered to inform them about the cause and reason of his death. Family is alleging that Wife of the Colonel was forcing Amit to do things with her which he was not comfortable with. And that leads to his murder. Its such a serious allegation and if this is true its a shame for the entire force.

Christian Diaz Rendon was protecting his family. On January 26th, an armed intruder shot up his Laveen home and broke in, shooting his 19-year-old stepson in the ankle.
