Medal of Honor Monday 🇺🇸 John Basilone stood his ground on Guadalcanal when his fellow Marines were under a brutal Japanese assault. With ammunition running low and enemy forces closing in, he moved through heavy fire, repaired a damaged machine gun, kept another gun firing, and personally carried ammunition to his men when the supply lines were nearly cut off. For his extraordinary courage, leadership, and refusal to quit under overwhelming odds, Sergeant John Basilone was awarded the Medal of Honor. He later returned to combat and gave his life on Iwo Jima. Valor. Duty. Sacrifice.🇺🇸

Medal of Honor Monday 🇺🇸 David Bellavia earned the Medal of Honor for his extraordinary courage during the Second Battle of Fallujah in Iraq. When his squad was trapped under heavy enemy fire, Bellavia put himself in danger to protect his fellow soldiers. He entered a hostile house alone, and even after being wounded, he fought through close quarters combat and refused to back down when lives were on the line. His actions saved his brothers in arms and showed the kind of courage, faith, and sacrifice that define a true American hero. May we never forget men like David Bellavia. 🏅✝️

Corey Comperatore was a husband, father, firefighter, and true American hero. On July 13, 2024, when gunfire erupted at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Corey’s first instinct was to protect his family. He shielded his wife and daughters with his own body, making the ultimate sacrifice for the people he loved most. His courage was not measured by words, but by what he did in a moment of danger. That bravery will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Corey. Your legacy of love, service, and sacrifice lives on. 🇺🇸🚒❤️

NEW: Man who disappeared 27 years ago at the age of 17, found alive 200 meters from his family's home in a neighbor's cellar. Insane. Omar Bin Omran of Algeria disappeared 27 years ago. He went missing in 1998 on his way to a vocational school. A 61-year-old is in police custody after his brother apparently exposed him on social media over an inheritance dispute. The post tipped off the family of Omar who then stormed the man's home in search of their son. He was found under haystacks. Omar was held in captivity by a man who lived alone and worked as a "civil servant." He was often seen purchasing food for two people. "The Public Prosecutor's Office received a complaint against an anonymous person claiming that the complainant's brother, Omar bin Omran, who has been missing for about 30 years, is in the house of one of his neighbors, inside a sheepfold," a court official said. It's not completely clear why Omar did not call for help for nearly 30 years. Algerian media is reporting that Omar claimed he was unable to call for help because of a spell the abductor cast on him.

Look at this. This is the heart of Israel. An IDF soldier gives his wife one last tender kiss before heading out to the front. He leaves his home, his bed, and the woman he loves to go into the darkness so we can sleep in the light. And look at her. She is a lioness. She takes that kiss, hides her fear, and goes back inside to take care of the kids and the home, not knowing when she’ll see him again. This is the price of our freedom. This is why we will never, ever be defeated. Behind every hero in green, there is a hero at home waiting in the shadows. Thank you for your sacrifice, your bravery, and your soul. You are the lions and lionesses of Judah. ✡️🇮🇱

He was told not to go to sleep. At 4 AM, someone was coming into his cell with the intention of stabbing him. He made his bed look like he was sleeping, hid in the darkness, and waited for a fight he knew he might not survive. He made it through that night. But some experiences don't end when the danger is over. Years later, he's still awake at 4 AM. Because sometimes the body escapes a place before the mind does. The danger is gone, the cell is gone, and life has moved on but a part of you is still standing in that corner, waiting for something to happen. Do you think we ever truly leave behind the moments when we were forced to fight for our lives?

The song is in Shona Zimbabwean language. It is based on a true story of a soldier who was working far away from his village and had a dream of his mother not feeling well and he requested for a work leave from the Zim army. When he arrived at his village coincidentally his mother was on her death bed and he wouldn't have known had he not made it back home. He wrote this song which he later sang with fellow soldiers. ❤️🇿🇼

The family of Dexter Reed, their lawyers and Democrats want you to feel empathy for his death. We’re not allowed to tell his family that Dexter was in the wrong because he shot at police first. Chicago police aren’t allowed to publicly defend themselves either. We’re all suppose to go along with narrative and keep pushing out these old photos of Dexter not looking like a thug. The reality is: He had a pending gun case that he was released on. He shot first. He shot at police 11 times. He shot an officer in the arm. Stop trying to ramp up racial tensions in this country. Be better.

Reza Pahlavi, for all intents and purposes, does not owe us anything. His family built Iran from zero. When I say zero, I mean zero. A weak, fragmented Qajar state, one in which women could not leave the house without a man. One in which Iran’s internal affairs were completely controlled by outsiders. One in which foreign armies seized our lands to feed their troops while half our population died of famine. A country without an army, without national infrastructure, without sovereignty over its own resources. And I can go on, and on, and on. In return, we Iranians repaid their blood, sweat, and tears with one of the greatest treacheries imaginable in modern history. His grandfather, arguably one of the greatest men in Iran’s history, his tomb was levelled to the ground. His father was forced to leave the country he loved more than anything in the world. One could say it was not his illness that killed him, but the knife we put in his back, the betrayal of a nation he had dedicated his life to. Reza Pahlavi’s friends and family who remained in Iran were murdered, one by one, at the hands of the regime WE enabled. An entire generation around him was hunted, imprisoned, executed, or driven into exile. His sister and brother, unable to bear the weight of exile and the destruction of everything they had known, took their own lives. Reza Pahlavi has the money. He could have chosen a quiet life, a life of comfort and distance, far from the insults, the threats, the endless character assassination. Instead of spending more than four decades on this path, he could have lived for himself and his family, free of this burden. Instead, he chose responsibility. He chose to stand for the very people who betrayed his family and became the cause of so much suffering in his life. What does he ask in return? Nothing. No throne has been demanded. No position imposed. He has asked only for a national process in which the Iranian people themselves decide their future. He has anchored that path in clear principles, precisely to prevent Iran from falling once again into chaos, fragmentation, and revenge. Yet even for that, he is criticised by so-called “Iran expert” podcasters who have never carried the weight of a nation on their shoulders, who say, “He does not want to lead,” “He is not your guy.” All while he and his family live under constant attacks, threats, and scrutiny on a daily basis. Despite all of that, his love for his people and his land overrides everything. He continues to fight for us. I want to say we have done nothing to deserve it, but the people of Iran have proven otherwise in these past weeks. They are no longer blinded by decades of propaganda. They are revisiting their history. They are correcting the lies they were raised with. They are openly calling his name in the streets, knowing the price that must be paid for it. They are awake to the mistakes of past generations, and they have reached out their hand to him. And he, despite everything, has taken that hand.

I'll tell you what happened to the Jews of Lebanon: This Jack Neria, a Lebanese-born Jew who was raised in Lebanon. He received his education in a Catholic school and later worked as a journalist in Lebanon. In 1968, twenty years after the establishment of Israel, he decided to move there. During the Israeli invasion, he returned to Lebanon as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Israeli army. One of the first things he did upon his return was visit his former school and tell his teachers: "I came back as part of the force that occupied Lebanon, you are now under our control" This is how Jack repaid his homeland and his teachers

There are different levels of courage. Edan Alexander is the one you measure the others against. He grew up in New Jersey. He volunteered for Golani. On October 7 he had stayed at the outpost near Nirim so someone else could go home for Shabbat. At 6:57 in the morning he called his mother and told her she wouldn’t believe what he was seeing. Then he held the post against about thirty gunmen, alone, until they took him. In the tunnel he was in uniform, and the civilians who were thrown in with him calmed down because a soldier was there. He told them they would get out. He argued, in English, for the Thai workers, because they were not Israelis and Hamas had no reason to keep them. He was the last living American they held. He came home on his feet. He spent 584 days in the tunnels, no daylight, fighting every day just to stay alive. His mother waited that long for the hug. She got him back in her arms. Most people would have called that the end of the story. He stood up and said it wasn’t. A month after giving this speech, Edan went back and put on that uniform so he can continue the fight. His story didn’t end with survival. It continued with service. That’s a whole different level of courage. They took a boy from New Jersey and buried him under Gaza for a year and a half. He came out and asked for the uniform back. He is a legend. A true lion of Israel. Credit: Friends of the IDF

Amit Chaudhary was the only son of his parents and only brother of his three elder sisters. He was about to gt married in Jan 2024. On the evening of 14th Sep he called his uncle and told him that the wife of the colonel at whose house he is posted as a House Help under Buddy system of Army is going to murder him. After three days the family received a call from SM of the unit who informed them that they are sending the dead body of Amit to Jammu. The family received the Body on 19th Sep and even now no one from the Army bothered to inform them about the cause and reason of his death. Family is alleging that Wife of the Colonel was forcing Amit to do things with her which he was not comfortable with. And that leads to his murder. Its such a serious allegation and if this is true its a shame for the entire force.

Eugène Terre’Blanche was the founder of the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging (AWB), a separatist organization that sought self-determination for the Afrikaner people, advocated for a separate homeland, and opposed Black majority rule in South Africa. He was later brutally murdered by two of his Black farmhands. To those who understand that the struggle of the Afrikaner people is not over, his death remains a symbol of defiance: a man who stood for his people and would not disappear quietly. We honor him because he never surrendered.

"[Lewis Hamilton] was really down on himself. And no one likes to see that because at the end of the day, whether you're a fan or not, Lewis Hamilton is the greatest racing driver we've ever seen." "Statistically, he is the greatest. I think he's the greatest even without the stats." "He wears his heart on his sleeve and should be applauded for that because it does a lot of good when he wears his heart on his sleeve. He did apologise to Rachel Brookes for being so down in the dumps off camera. He said, 'I'm really sorry about that. I'm just so down.' And that just shows the extent that he really was down. He's not putting this on for the cameras, trust me." "And once again, it's right after the race. He's not had time for a debrief. He's not had time to have a chat with his race engineer. So he probably didn't know the extent of whatever damage the car had at the time he spoke to Rachel. And he probably didn't realise that it was the car that was hindering him more so than his driving in that one. And look, when you're in a Ferrari and you're overtaken by Nico Hülkenberg, albeit in a Ferrari powered Sauber, you're going to question, 'is it me really? Am I doing something wrong here?'
