Cheetahs had got extinct in India for 70 years before the Hon’ble PM and Govt of India decided to reintroduce them with the help of Namibia and South Africa in 2022 in Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh . Project Cheetah was started and a few imported cheetahs were introduced in Kuno. After about 3 years , the cheetah population has grown to 32 . The sight of cheetah cubs in this video reflects progress in habitat adaptation, prey availability, and field-level management by forest and wildlife authorities. It is not only a conservation achievement but also a symbol of India’s commitment to restoring lost ecological heritage. If managed successfully, it may pave the way for establishing a genetically viable and free-ranging cheetah population in India 🇮🇳. It’s such a great sight seeing this 🤗

How do you get a cheetah in a crate? Good question! In Somaliland, the Bandit Group - a coalition of five adolescent male cheetahs – is getting ready to move from the ‘cub area’ to a large, new enclosure. And, for the first time since arriving at the Cheetah Rescue and Conservation Centre (CRCC) as young cubs, they will be transported in crates. To prepare the cats, staff at the CRCC have been gradually getting the cheetahs used to the crates they will be using for the relocation. So far, the group is making amazing progress! At least, they seem to like using the crates as furniture! A sanctuary and rehabilitation center for cheetahs rescued from the illegal wildlife trade and cases of human-wildlife conflict, today the CRCC is home to almost 100 cheetahs – including the Bandit Group. This video shows a German/US-delivered Cheetah SPAAG in service with the Ukrainian Air Command South. Deployed somewhere in the Odesa region, it regularly works against Russian Shaheds. As always, I've worked together with StepanS to provide you with English subtitles. Up to 60 Cheetah SPAAGs have been jointly acquired in Jordan by the US and Germany and have been provided to Ukraine. Germany paid for 15 Cheetah SPAAGs, while the US covered the cost for the remaining up to 45 Cheetah SPAAGs.

While stronger laws and enforcement in the Middle East have reduced demand for cheetahs, cubs are still being stolen from the wild under the false belief that a market still exists. These cubs, often taken for use as exotic pets or for entertainment, face long, brutal journeys. Most don’t survive the trip, making this a cruel and collapsing trade 💔. According to the Cheetah Conservation Fund, around 300 cubs are illegally captured and smuggled each year from Ethiopia, northern Kenya, Somalia, and Somaliland. "Spots & Stripes" A Cheetah Family Crossing Paths With A Zebra Herd. Zebras are huge and cheetahs aren't all that powerful. Lions have a hard time taking down a zebra and they're pretty much in the same weight class as zebras. Cheetahs weigh maybe a third of what a lion weighs. Male coalitions have been recorded killing half grown and at least one adult zebra, but unattended foals are the only zebra really at risk. As zebras don't generally leave foals unattended, any cheetah going after one will have to deal with mama, and frequently the rest of the band will rally.
