After a tough game last night, Marlins second baseman Ronny Simón says that he heard from many current and former players after the game — including Manny Machado, Fernando Tatis Jr., Luis Arraez, Robinson Canó, and Luis Castillo. Some very insightful words from Simón:

Lots of respect to Simón for so thoughtfully answering questions this morning following a very tough night. Wish him the best moving forward.

TODO SEA POR VERLO EN MONTERREY 🫡 A pesar de su rivalidad en la cancha, reportes indican que @TigresOficial habría ayudado a @Rayados a conseguir el fichaje de Sergio Ramos. Te contamos acá. 👇 #LigaMX #Tigres #Rayados #SergioRamos

I once booted four groundballs during a company softball game. No one reached out to me afterwards 😂

That’s a legendary group to have in your corner. Iron sharpens iron—and it sounds like Ronny’s learning from some of the best to ever do it. 💬⚾️ #Marlins #BaseballBrotherhood #NextUp

But wait, I thought Machado was arrogant and only cared about himself...... 🙄🙄. Class act by these guys.

There’s so much negative and bad stuff in sports that gets reported and all the attention. Glad this real and good stuff is reported. Pulling for him and respect to players that reached out.

Castillo once dropped a routine popup in the 9th inning to lose a game. It happens.

I feel like people are blowing this way out of proportion, dude had a bad game, so what everybody does in every sport/activity. Yeah he may have contributed to a loss, but so do many other players across every team every day the whole season. It happens. Just get back on track.

At the end of the day we are all human and we break. Nothing to be ashamed of and loved that he answered questions the day after.

Love this kid. Great attitude, seems like he just wants to work his ass off to get better. Rooting for him!

I really like this kid
