Officers from the NYPD 19th Precinct responded and attempted to negotiate with the individual, but he remained hostile and refused to comply. Officers attempted to place the man in handcuffs, but a violent struggle followed before he was fully restrained. The man was transported to a hospital for evaluation. No arrest was made.

Officers from the NYPD 44th Precinct were conducting targeted enforcement near the Highbridge Garden Houses when they found the man stopped in the middle of a roadway running through the housing complex, obstructing traffic. Officers requested his ID, but he refused multiple times. Had he simply provided his ID, they possibly would have let him go if everything came back clear. At worst, he could have received a summons. Instead, his repeated refusal to cooperate ultimately led to his arrest.

This is such an amazing story. An older man Tom had to leave his apartment because the landlord refused to allow him to keep his dog because it was a pitbull. Rather than get rid of the dog, he left the apartment and decided to stay in a tent.. After a while he realized he couldn’t really care for the dog, because he had health issues, so he took his best friend to the fire station with a note explaining his situation and asking if they could take care of his baby, they did of course, but something else happened. They decided to find him and they did. They realize that he was a veteran and so they set him up in a donated RV and while they’re attending to his health needs, they’re keeping the dog Jake for when he gets well enough they’re going to reunite them both . ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We hear all about the bad things going on. It’s just as important to hear about all the good things that people are doing.
