Cindy Update:during the night our brave mama dog managed to give birth to 5 more pups 💝. She's ever so tired but she's trying her best to feed them. This dog has been through so much and yet here she is taking care of her newborns. Keep going Cindy, you are truly amazing 💕(1/2)

Look who's standing, our miracle mom Cindy 💖. Victim of a hit and run, unable to stand and heavily pregnant. This dog gave birth naturally and has looked after her pups since they were born at Christmas. If there was a bravery award for dogs then Cindy deserves that award 👏🥰

We think the hit was intentional and not from a car. Whoever did it didn’t quite “finish her off”. She had a serious brain injury and lost all control of her limbs. But her recovery started here. She was only about 5 months old (2/7)

I was to the hospital and I saw this little girl in front of me. She was about to lose consciousness, but I took her and treated her All that happened to her was the lack of food and drink, and she had no one to take care of her. This situation is not the first time😢💔

I hate that they are doing this to her.. I was there and all I see is her professionalism! I’m sure some people there are worried, because the whole Act 5, she’already having an issue with her IEM. She almost fell at the end of Jump maybe because she’s trying to fix her stuff. One time she was already signaling for help but still she managed to fix it on her own and she performed so well! Give her a break! Some clips I took..

My husband and I adopted a 10.5 year old dog. Not because we were looking for another dog, but because she sat at the shelter for 3 months without a single person inquiring about her or meeting her and we didn’t want her dying alone. She wasn’t with a rescue but people in the rescue community were networking her because she was the sweetest and was every shelter volunteer’s favorite dog. They would even let her hang out in the office with them. I heard about her and the next day we went to meet her and adopted her. She was covered in ticks when we brought her home, and it took a lot of vet visits, treatments, trial and error, and patience to finally heal her from it. There were moments where it felt overwhelming, but she was worth every bit of effort. We weren’t sure how long she would live but we didn’t care, because it wasn’t about us, it was about her. Thankfully she was with us for three years and passed just two months ago at 13.5 years old, which is ancient. She was an amazing dog and I loved her just as much as all my other dogs. Seniors are the best and they’re just as deserving of a loving home as any other dog. 📹treatsnatcher

7 years was a long time, but it was well worth the wait. you can tell cardi took her time with this album and followed her heart. and we still got solid singles and features along the way. she was playing chess. salute the brim!

8 months ago Chance was stabbed 3 times in the stomach and didn’t trust humans. I took her for a little beach trip to spoil her. Look at her eyes full of wonder (and a little fear as it’s her first time on the scooter) and the little paw on the foot ❤️ A very very good girl

My husband and I decided to open our hearts to a 10-and-a-half-year-old dog. We weren't looking to adopt another dog, but when we learned that she had spent three months at the shelter without a single visitor or adoption inquiry, we couldn't bear the thought of her growing old and passing away alone. Although she wasn't with a rescue organization, her story was shared widely throughout the animal rescue community. She was incredibly gentle and sweet, and the shelter volunteers adored her. They loved her so much that they often let her spend time with them in the office instead of leaving her alone in her kennel. The day after we heard about her, we went to meet her. The moment we saw her, we knew we couldn't walk away. When we brought her home, she was covered in ticks. Helping her recover wasn't easy. We made countless trips to the veterinarian, patiently tried different treatments, and devoted a great deal of time to her care. There were moments when it felt overwhelming, but we never regretted our decision. All we wanted was for her to spend the rest of her life surrounded by love. In the end, we received the greatest gift of all. She stayed with us for three more wonderful years before peacefully passing away at 13 and a half years old, an impressive age for a dog. She brought so much joy into our family and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Puffin the Orpington super-broody with her first clutch of chicks at the start of May this year. Although the chicks were around 5 days old when this was taken and we would normally allow them out with the flock by this time, we were still under flockdown at that time.

She lives at the land full time now. She has her own little suite. She likes toys. She does her running and she has friendships when I’m very careful and on the leash. I’d love to get her a home but I still worry. Her life needs structure and safety for her (11/12)

This was the moment Wamata met her SWT family – and took her first helicopter flight. She was a small elephant, but it was a tight squeeze nonetheless. Her journey to safety began with an aerial sighting: a lone baby elephant, hiding in the forest. Our pilots conducted numerous searches to find her family, but came up short. With time running out, and a green light from the authorities to mount a rescue, we stepped in. To keep her calm during the flight, we gently secured her legs and placed a blanket over her eyes to reduce stimulation. Once at her destination – our Nairobi Nursery – this precious cargo was hand-delivered into a warm stable where her recovery began. That was back in 2024. Today, she is thriving. See how she looks now:
