After Australia’s five-year hard border shutdown on immigration, we could consider a UAE-style approach to foreigners working in Australia. In the UAE, you can live, work, invest and contribute but citizenship isn’t handed out like a sample bag. It’s protected. It’s inherited. Demoralisation propaganda in Australia. Entire ABC studio audience jeers Australian MP because he says he’s happy that Australia exists as a country. Then the audience cheer and clap a separatist speaker who says she is not Australian and never wants to be. This is extremely sad. It shows that many people on the far-left actually hate Australia and the concept of Australia as a unified nation state. The debate can be framed in the context of “colonisation” but the reality is that if the British had not come to Australia, the country we live in today with all the democratic freedoms we enjoy would not exist and most of us would not be living here. So when they say that it should never have happened they are saying that Australia should not exist.

🚨ICE deported a U.S. born citizen. Brian Morales is a U.S. citizen, born in a hospital in Denver, Colorado, with documentation to prove it… And yet, after a traffic stop in Texas, he was taken into custody and deported to Mexico with no charges, no conviction, and no due process. Morales repeatedly told officers he was a citizen and had proof, but instead of verifying that, he was threatened with fraud charges, and prison time, if he didn’t comply. He was ultimately pressured into signing removal paperwork out of fear… which is coercion, and illegal. There is no law in the United States that allows the government to deport a U.S. citizen. Citizenship is not something ICE can ignore because they don’t believe you, and it’s not something that can be stripped through intimidation. If you are born here, you belong here… period. DHS claims he admitted to being undocumented… even though he had proof he was not… and we’re expected to accept that version without questioning how that “admission” was obtained in the first place. This also didn’t happen at the border, it happened after a routine traffic stop in Texas, which means the standard here wasn’t immigration enforcement at the border, it was treating citizenship like it’s conditional, and revocable, on the spot. If citizenship can be ignored, if proof can be dismissed, and if people can be threatened into signing away their rights, then due process is being bypassed entirely… and if this can happen to Brian Morales, it can happen to anyone.

Bjorn Jarvis, head of demography at the Australian Bureau of Statistics, says 75% of Australia’s population growth is coming from immigration. That means, roughly, assuming immigration does not increase, which it may well do, Australia is on track to become majority foreign-born by around 2050. By then, something like 80% of Australians could have at least one foreign-born parent. At some point, we should probably ask whether this is normal, whether anyone voted for it, and whether a country can absorb that much change that quickly without becoming something else entirely.

The Albanese Government has turned New Zealand into a back door for Australian citizenship. Under Labor's 2023 changes, anyone who gets NZ citizenship, even if they weren't born there, can come to Australia on a 444 visa, stay indefinitely, and become an Australia citizen after four years without ever becoming a permanent resident or passing our points test. When I pressed the department on how many people become permanent residents without passing the points test, they took the question on notice. The response is staggering. Only 29% of permanent visas granted in 2025-26 to 31 March 2026, were points-tested. That means 71% of people gaining permanent residency, and eventually citizenship, never sat the points test at all. Even New Zealand's Foreign Minister has warned his country is being used as a stepping stone. Yet when I raised these concerns, the Minister tried to spin migration numbers to mislead Australians, ignoring the truth that Morrison raised immigration after COVID, and Albanese then drove it two records high, followed by a slight dip he now claims is a "cut". He fails to mention the latest year is another record. Australians deserve honesty. This government created a back-door pathway that undermines our citizenship standards and disrespects migrants who did the right thing, followed the rules, and passed the points test. The Minister needs to stop playing games with the numbers and start serving the Australian people. In part I said, 'I would like to pay tribute to Bec Freedom and the other organisers around the nation for their courage in championing the concerns of a majority of Australians.' My view is that Australia needs: 1. A five year immigration pause. 2. A five year debate about an optimal immigration program. 3. A national vote on what program is best. 4. The abolition of the multicultural industrial complex replacing it with good old assimilation. We must strive to prevent the social breakdown in many parts of Western Europe from coming to Australia. I've been warning Australians that our immigration system is out of control and now the government's own data confirms it. In February alone, 200,000 foreign students arrived in Australia. In the middle of a housing crisis, this is unforgivable. If we don't act now, the pressure on housing, hospitals, and wages will only get worse. Universities were built for Australian students. They should focus on educating our own young people, not acting as businesses designed to attract foreign students, raking in profits while Australian taxpayers foot the bill. Families are struggling with skyrocketing rents, young people are missing out, and our healthcare system is stretched thin. This cannot be allowed to continue. We need to tighten our immigration system and toughen citizenship rules to ensure people who come here prove their commitment to our values and way of life. Australians must come first. This election is your chance to send a clear message: no more weak immigration policies, no more putting Australians last. One Nation is rising in the polls because Australians are fed up with being ignored. This means we can get candidates elected, and we can give you a real voice, we can turn things around. But if you don’t act now, this crisis will deepen, and the Australia you know and love will continue to slip away.
