Since 1975, Gibson electric guitars have been handcrafted in the heart of Music City—Nashville, Tennessee, where wood and steel meet heart and soul. Using the finest materials and premium parts, time-honored processes like rope binding, and original tooling from Kalamazoo, we don’t do things the easiest way or the fastest way. We do things the right way—the Gibson way. More than 130 years since Orville Gibson began making his first musical instruments, we still honor his legacy. Every Gibson is built to inspire for generations to come, with personal touches like hand-sprayed sunburst finishes and figured maple tops as unique as a fingerprint. The same ES laminate press we used to make instruments played by icons is still in use today. Their guitars came out of that machine, and yours did too. But it’s the final hands that touch a Gibson guitar that are the most important. Your hands. Your Gibson. Your story.
