Drew Faurot (FSU Baseball) was one of the more underrated players in the CCBL this summer. The Seminole will likely start up the middle next spring after slashing .263/.342/.414 in 28 games with a wood bat in Brewster. The switch-hitting middle infielder has a similar stance as a LHH and RHH and shows a high leg kick upon load. It's a violent hack through the zone with exceptional bat speed and was able to show decent pull-side pop from both sides with 6 2B & 3 HR this summer. Faurot was third among qualified SS in hits (26), OPS (.756) and second in HR (3) and SLG% (.414). He looked smooth defensively and showed the ability to play SS or 2B after splitting time at both spots on the Cape. Solid range with average speed and a fringe arm at SS/2B but can get the ball out of his glove quickly. He should stick at either position at the pro level. Pitch recognition could improve as he struggled at times with the slider and change, resulting in a 55% miss and 42% miss rate, respectively. He had a 30.3 K% on the Cape but has a career a 40.9 FB% in college. Would also like to see some more line drives via hard hit balls after having a below average 42.6 GB% while at school. His second Cape stint showed that improvement is coming. Faurot's hard work ethic stands out. He's always watching film, taking hacks, fielding grounders - looking to improve in all aspects of his game. He's going to be an early Day 2 draft prospect in '25 with projectable power and versatility both offensively and defensively.

C Cole Messina (@GamecockBasebll) is going to be a fun follow this spring. After playing sparingly as a true Freshman in 2022, Messina had a strong summer in the Northwoods League and hit .294/.410/.483 with 10 2B, 5 HR, and 40 RBIs. Proceeded to have a stellar Sophomore campaign, hitting .307/.428/.615 with 18 2B, 17 HR, and 65 RBIs in 62 games. Was a First Team All-SEC selection and a Third Team All-American. Thick, ultra-physical build at 6' and 230-lbs. Stands nearly upright in the box with a slightly open front side. Somewhat high handset, starts with the head of his bat pointed almost straight down behind his back shoulder. Small stride, gets his swing going with a bit of a barrel tip and without much of a load. Bat speed is plus. Messina has a pull-oriented approach and an above average feel for the barrel. Bat-to-ball skills are advanced, and in '23 he sported an overall IZ contact rate of 90% (90% against FB, 92% against SL). Sound pitch recognition skills and doesn't really expand the zone. Would put a 55 on the hit tool. His natural strength and physicality allows him to generate high-quality impact on a regular basis. Max EV in '23 was 108. Overall raw power is a 55, but a 60 to the pull side. There are some defensive question marks, but Messina is a sneaky athlete behind the dish. Moves well laterally. However, his overall catching skillset will need to become more polished. PONDPHUWIN DEAR MYSELF #DearMyselfxPondPhuwin // how does its fulfill or make u grow in work relationship by working together (MAT) this time? 🐻 Actually both of us didn't work together in series work over a year. I remember that time finish WA, we weren't as close then as we are now. 🐼 Which actually that time we hv became closer too 🐻 It was during a deep talked at level... where we walked and talked... later might hv in here (*the album). I'm not sure if I bring that pict or not. At first hv many pict but... it was the time where we deep talked by walking around the garden right? 🐼 Yes 🐻 For 2hours. Walking around the garden when shooting. It was the time where we were waiting for set/scene changing where we were not included. Which that time it was another feeling. After a year, eo separately went to grew up. Phuwin himself played in Taste, and me went to shoot LeapDay series. Its like separately working where we didn't play as a pair. Till comeback to met this time, admitted that we hv become more closer. I thought to myself that when ppl become more closer, will we burst out laughing? Bc normally when shoot a series, it just a work. It will be feel like we both don't really know eo personalities well yet. So when we play, it didnt hv humor feeling that much. But for today when we played series and we know eo better, I was worried bc the series is funny. Will I burst out, smtg like this. But during the shooting, I'm so happy for this series 🎤 Then for Phuwin? 🐼 I'm very glad that we get to break for almost over a year. And by taking a break over a year, eo hv went to level up the acting skill and many other skills. And when we get to met again, it make me feel that working together hv become much more smooth. Bc we hven't met for so long, it make we want to do it. And both sides hv gotten better in our own field. And it make everything much easier

Chicago Bears: The Deep Ball Façade As a Chicago Bears truther, I gotta keep it 💯 There are many Bears fans posting “Amazing” out of the pocket deep ball highlights of Caleb Williams Obviously, we don’t see those kinds of throws everyday. It’s insane!! But deep ball playmaking isn’t new to Chicago. Nor is it the focal point of Ben Johnson’s offense. If the Bears are going to be great, we have to become more efficient from the pocket. Pass percentage must go up, time in pocket must come down. Living outside the pocket will hinder our ability to be efficient and to win a Super Bowl #1 Deep Ball was always there Justin Fields in 2023 had one of the most efficient deep balls in the league. Not only that, the majority of his deep balls came from the pocket which is what you want from your QB. As good as the Bears were as a whole last year, the deep ball was far more efficient in 2023. But living on the deep ball and living out the pocket comes with limitations. We have to focus on the fundamentals #2 Ben Johnson is the catalyst Similar to 2023, Bears offense in 2024 had explosive plays followed by inconsistent offense and inept situational football by the head coach Poor offensive line, poor offensive scheme, and inept head coach were the core issues. Ryan Poles thought QB was the main issue and then 2024 happened. We learned quick that it takes more than a talented QB to win football games. Ben Johnson has alleviated all of those concerns. He has made Bears offensive line the focal point! His scheme has been top of the league since he became OC in Detroit. And his situational football awareness far superior than Eberflus. Bears fans must recognize that Ben Johnson is the catalyst of the Bears offensive turnaround, and team success. Now give him what he needs! He wants 3 tight ends? Give it to him He wants more Luther Burden? Give it to him He wants more efficiency out of his QB? Let’s make that the focal point.. #3 Ben Johnson needs a point guard at QB Efficiency in the pocket, time to throw, and passing EPA are far more important to Ben Johnson’s offense than out of pocket deep balls. We need Caleb to be that killer still, but it’s the fundamentals that will allow Bears to take the next step. This offense doesn’t need a Michael Jordan at QB. Ben Johnson would much rather have an Isiah Thomas at QB because this offense has enough Bad Boys to get the job done. Feed the WRs! Get the ball out of your hands quicker! Allow deep ball to be the counter punch of the offense. #4 It’s all there.. The pre-snap awareness, post snap awareness, efficiency from pocket, and pass velocity all scream franchise QB. When you look at Caleb Williams in the pocket on short to intermediate passes, it looks effortless. The ball leaves his hand lightning quick, it’s placed where it’s supposed to be, and WR is able to make a play after the catch. We have to see more of this and it starts now. CW has to trust Ben Johnson’s offense and his WRs more. Conclusion: If we wanted a QB to scramble and throw deep balls, Justin Fields would still be a Chicago Bear What makes Caleb unique, is that he can be a hunter down the field but also has the upside to be a Drew Brees type of QB in the pocket. I rather see more clips of Caleb playing in rhythm and in the pocket , than deep bombs out the pocket. There will be struggles, but that’s ok. I much rather see our QB struggle making the right throws in OTAs than masking it with his gift as an out the pocket thrower.

Caleb Durbin immediately jumps off the page as yet another breakout candidate acquired by Boston this offseason. On the surface, Durbin's production isn't necessarily eye-popping. As a rookie in '25: ⚾️ .721 OPS ⚾️ 6% BB / 10% K ⚾️ .312 xwOBA ⚾️ 105 wRC+ ⚾️ 2.6 fWAR So, what stands out regarding Durbin? I. Elite Swing Decisions & Whiff-Ability. Facing major league pitching for the first time in his career, Durbin registered the 5th-best K% (10%) in MLB last year. His 94% zCon rate (T-5th in MLB) is also elite. Durbin's whiff% and chase% also ranked inside the 95th percentile (or better). We're talking about a bat with some similar contact traits like we see in Jacob Wilson, for example, but with far less chase and a bit more pullside thump. He squares up the ball well (33% — 95th PCTL) and pairs that ability with taking a steady amount of walks. Point blank, the 25-year-old is a demon at limiting whiff. II. Power Surge? It's All in the Pull Air%. A gigantic reason it's so easy to pencil Durbin in as a breakout candidate is his fantastic park fit at Fenway. As a rookie, Durbin turned in an above-average 41% pull rate, plus an even-better 20% pull air rate. Utilizing that approach with a big target in left field will work wonders for his OPS. I don't expect Durbin to mash 20+ HR out of nowhere, but I'd certainly bank on seeing a number of flyouts simply turn into doubles or homers at home. III. Quality Defense. Breslow talked a lot about upgrading defense, and this move certainly does that. I've been very vocal since the start of the offseason that Mayer at 2B, not 3B, would be my preference for a multitude of reasons. Durbin (who can play all over the infield), enters the building as a plus defender at 3B. As a rookie, Durbin turned in 2 OAA, 5 DRS, 5 rPM, and 1 FRV at the hot corner. Sliding Mayer over to second base allows for easier platoon management with Romy Gonzalez — who saw an increase in his defensive production at 2B a year ago — and yes, is an upgrade over Alex Bregman's 1 DRS in 2025. IV. Handling Velo. Something that shouldn't get overlooked is Durbin's ability to handle velocity — a department the Red Sox obviously needed to upgrade in after last season. In '25 vs. FA-types 94+ mph: ⚾️ .258 BA → .275 xBA ⚾️ .350 SLG → .375 xSLG ⚾️ .319 wOBA → .337 xwOBA ⚾️ 8% whiff rate — — — Overall, I'm really ecstatic about the Durbin acquisition. This is FAR better than signing Suarez and calling it a day, imo. Can't forget Durbin is a guy the Red Sox have under team control for a while now (2032 UFA!). Utilizing Harrison — who's name has been yanked around between trade talks or a move to the bullpen — is a great piece of business. The comp pick is also massive, but we'll talk more about that soon. I think at his best, Durbin could lead off for the Red Sox by the end of '26. A legit breakout candidate and bag stealing threat with a high floor thanks to limited swing-and-miss and good defense. Really looking forward to see him more in camp.

Incoming “I ain't reading that, happy for u, or sorry that happened” post xD First Stand Gameplay - Was pretty happy with how the lane swaps and adjustments to Atakhan worked out. I think I counted about 100 wearing HLE jackets on finals day, but it was a reminder of how integrated and mainstream popular League feels in the East - As soon as the entry to the cheerfuls (signs) opened, they all charged in to go and start drawing their cards, it was honestly quite shocking the level of dedication and enthusiasm that some of these fans had, but also awesome - I can’t possibly imagine something like that happening in the West… - We also had the honor to play in a mini Arena tournament with a bunch of LCK Legends that have I've been watching for 15 years and didn’t do too shabby; went 6th, 3rd, 2nd, but Mingyo and Sangho were too good… - It will be the first and last time I get to say I killed Pray, Smeb, Kuro, Madlife, Shy on repeat :D and the players watching on stream were surprised to see the Devs were actually pretty decent LOL, which felt nice - A fan came out specifically to play with Kuro, wearing a ROX Tigers jersey and seeing the joy of getting to meet and play with your hero, she was laughing, smiling, it must have been the time of her life; it’s just a reminder of how meaningful League can be and just makes us really inspired to keep working hard to make the game good Solo Q Experience and Balance - Outside of the work obligations, had some time to slam 20 Solo Q games; was pleasantly surprised by my level this time around, feels like I’m playing around solidly KR D2/D1 level, which is quite shocking, because it’s not like I’m Masters level on NA right now and haven’t been able to play more than 50 games in the last 6 months due to life. Probably would've won more if I wasn't such a kda player xD - Main character syndrome still feels really peak here, the person either goes 8-0 or 0-8 and is spam FF’ing repeatedly, so minimizing my enemy laner impact, scaling and playing defensively to support my jungler feels most effective even though I’m playing Ori who feels like a dog champ on this server, since it’s so hard to actually land QW on anyone due to their mechanics and it’s risky to walk in river and so easy to die to ganks - Moving to help jungler in lost fights to avoid mental boom is the only thing that I’m finding annoying, some of these fight selections feel extremely perplexing, like Zac wanting to fight Lee at first scuttle with no prio and I end up having to sac my lane half the time to prevent them from AFK’ing or soft inting because I didn’t move, it’s super annoying… - Every post game chat also feels like at least 3 players are writing their PhD thesis, which is somewhat amusing, but also really unfortunate… - It feels like Lee Sin or Viego are in every game with a 30% pickrate, so if you can prevent the team from throwing and always follow them around and play secondary, they can carry, whereas on NA, Lee Sins in Diamond can't carry and suck relatively (ping hurts as well), so it’s not like you can play around them reliably - It was interesting to feel again for myself just how different these champs feel in their balance state across servers, indeed in one of the press conferences there was a question about balancing decisions making no sense for the state of the champ on KR server. I can see why KR players get angry when we buff Lee because the other regions suck at him, he unironically feels 2-3% winrate stronger on KR server, same with Jayce who has a monstrous pickrate here as well - We even almost buffed Lee Sin for First Stand because he’s been pretty absent from Pro, so I’m actually not quite sure what we’re meant to do about that… - The other thing that I forgot was how good it was to play on 2ms ping. I’m not sure whether it’s net positive for the person dodging or the person hitting, but since I mostly play immobile mages, it feels like I can dodge line skillshots and range leash people more effectively, which makes Mages feel so much better, though it also means it’s extremely hard to QW tag someone in a teamfight as Ori, let alone hit them with R - I’m curious if any people have done any analysis on this - I also attached typical KR Lee Sin penta 😅 Anyway, back to NA tmrw, lots of work to do

These youtuber hate spreaders (Keean Bexte Kirk Lubimov Daniel Bordman) constantly attack police online, claiming Sikh officers are an "infiltration", then run to them playing victim any time they are approached by a Sikh! 2) Abdusellam attempted to film under-18 bystanders directly to fabricate claims he was "surrounded", leading to direct intervention. 3) As seen in this video, Abdusellam (who is a visibly a lot older than he looks online, at least 35), makes no qualms about saying "I know where you live". In this day-and-age where Sikh activists get "duty to warn" notices, this is nothing other than a threat. 4) I asked Abdusellam for an interview. We have the right to question him on his content. Note, this so-called journalist never tried to interview any speakers on the day. He wants to film, run under his rock (literally ran when he thought no one was watching) and claim we are extremists. This man is being paid to spread hate in Canada. 5) I will never hesitate to confront those who spread hate against Sikhs. I look forward to seeing any such figures at the next Sikh gathering. I know many many Sikhs feel the same way. We are expecting you. I encourage more who feel able, don't hesitate to confront these bigots when they enter our spaces.

OF Trevor Condon (Tennessee Baseball) was one of my favorite position players I saw in Jupiter. Collected 7 hits (1 XBH) and 4 RBIs across 5 games. Slightly undersized, but there's some impact (mainly to the pull side) packed into his frame. Wiry, athletic build at 5'11" and 175-lbs. Prototypical top-of-the-order table setter. Explosive and twitchy operation in the box with no-doubt plus bat speed. Feel for the barrel is there, high-level bat-to-ball skills. Controlled the zone well with polished swing decisions in my looks last week. Does tend to hit the ball on the ground, would like to see more line drives. Hit-over-power profile with some PS thump. Gets out of the box unbelievably quick, turned in 70-grade run times. Condon's tantalizing combination of speed and athleticism translates well to centerfield. He can really go and get it and has plenty of range, but if he can shore up his routes (take a more efficient, crisp path to the baseball) he has a chance to become an impact defender. The intangibles with Condon are a nice cherry on top. Advanced baseball sense; stole 2nd on a great dirt ball read, swiped 3rd on a well-executed shuffle lead. Incredibly high motor, plays with his hair on fire. Does not take a pitch off! Always involved, brings the juice! Like the Energizer bunny. Kind of a throwback player in that sense - it's clear he LOVES to play! Think along the lines of Sal Frelick/Slater de Brun (SDB better defender at this point with more of a physical, barrel-chested look). Top 2-3 round type for me this July.

I asked Dallas Mavericks GM Nico Harrison four questions today at his end-of-season press conference: Me: “You said me and Coach Kidd are aligned, you know the player(s) that he likes. But when it comes to a trade of this magnitude, it’s the main player that led y’all to the finals last season, so I wanted to ask you, what did that conversation look like at the 11th hour when you told him that y’all would be trading Luka Doncic, and do you think it was fair to him to have y’all’s entire team to be built around Luka, and then in the middle of the season him having to pivot to a completely different player to try to make the title run again?” Harrison: “I think there’s some difficulties anytime when you do a trade that big during the middle of the season. We saw it when we traded for Kyrie a couple years ago. Sometimes trades take a little longer to really see how good a trade it was. But I also know his connectivity to Anthony Davis. He won a championship with him with the Lakers. I know his admiration for him as a defensive player, and so I wasn’t worried about that.” Me: “What did y’all’s conversation look like when you let him know?” Harrison: “It was really brief. I just told him the reasoning behind it and let him know, and he understood and he got geared up to start white boarding to get ready to see how we would play with Anthony Davis.” Me: “Do you feel like he agreed with those reasons?” Harrison: “I don’t think it’s about agreeing, but he aligns with how I think in terms of defense wins championships. Pressing, transitions and goals in Canada! After the hiring of Jesse Marsch this week by Canada Soccer , there has been lots of talk about pressing and transitions in the football community. This is THE style of play that we have used for the last 5 years with Alliance United FC in @L1OMens and will give you some insight in how this can look. We went away from the 'possession' based 1-4-3-3 that everyone has been using as the 'best way' to develop players and win games. Many say this is the 'right way' of playing. However, we use the players' abilities and inabilities as the starting point and based on players produced in Canada, within our youth system, this is the way we think will get us the best results and help our players get to the next level. You need to understand youth development in our country to understand what is and what is not being taught to young players. This is not a negative outlook, it is just looking at the reality. Many mistake this style of play as just non-stop pressing and chaos. Yes, these two aspects are important but it is a much more deliberate and planned way of playing that is used to predict where the opposition will play the ball, where the ball can be dictated and what areas the opposition leave open for transitions when they attack. In 2019, I was introduced to Ernst Tanner former Academy Director of Red Bull Salzburg and current Philadelphia Union Sporting Director that has led the club to being one of the top clubs in MLS and arguably the best academies in North America the last few years. Both organisations are known for their pressing and fast transitions in addition to producing top players. He became a mentor to me and gave me insights and education on this style of play. He has changed the way I look at football. Every season we try to recruit players that can play this style that I will describe below and we do not waiver in the way we played. Every game since 2019 Alliance United FC have played either in a 1-4-2-2-2 or a 1-4-4-2 midfield diamond....every game. We have no secrets in how we play. We focus on defending, pressing, forcing teams into mistakes and transition football. It is important to understand that we do not care how much possession we have and we actually want the opposition to have the ball most of the time. Stats in football show that only when a team has the ball 70% or more in a match their is a correlation to winning. Anything less is not correlated to winning in a certain match. In addition, 80% of goals are scored under 5 passes or less and under 10 seconds when regaining possession. We follow the trend! So, here are some important points based on the video: a) Pressing higher up the pitch when possible. All 11 players are committed to the team intention (principles) and if anybody is not committed and does not contribute to this style of play, they do not play. There is no leeway on this. Either you are in 100% in or you are not. All it takes is one player to not commit and the plan will not work. If we do not win the ball on the high press, everyone is to drop behind the ball as fast as possible to restart the press closer to our goal. b) Based on the opponent's scouting we press certain players and decide if will press closer to the sideline and 'pin' the player to the sideline or we dictate the passes and dribbles centrally and 'surround' the player to win the ball in central positions. We also decide if we will sometimes drop lower for the opposition to advance so we can play behind them when winning the ball. This is done if we scout that the opposition centre-backs are slower than our two strikers. This means we will 'outrun' them in the space they leave behind. c) When winning the ball we want to exploit space behind their backline as the priority which means that a player(s) need to be passing options behind the backline and preferably centrally which is closer to the goal, players winning the ball has to look to play the ball to the player furthest up the pitch. Possession is not a priority but scoring goals as fast as possible is. d) When winning the ball we stay as central as possible with passes and dribbling. We use the width of the penalty area (44 yards) as the preferable dimension when transitioning. We want to stay within this width. The wider the team plays the ball, the more time the opposition has to block the middle. PLAY AS VERTICALLY AS POSSIBLE! The emphasis is to get the ball to the two strikers and play 1v1 against the CBs. e) We know that most youth players grow up playing against a 1-4-3-3 which means there is one central striker meaning the centre-backs one back press and one can cover. Against 2 strikers this is not possible and many centre-backs do not have the ability to play 1v1 with space behind them. They are not taught the cues to step and press or drop to protect space behind them. They are never taught at youth level. We exploit this deficiency. e) All 11 players must get up the pitch to close the spaces if we lose the ball from our attacking transition so the opposition cannot transition against us and we can counter-press. f) A goal is the best outcome based on the objective of attacking but at the minimum we want to get a shot on goal from a transition. This is a quick overview of a different way of playing football that Canada will see with the Men's National Team.

If we do not win the ball on the high press, everyone is to drop behind the ball as fast as possible to restart the press closer to our goal. b) Based on the opponent's scouting we press certain players and decide if will press closer to the sideline and 'pin' the player to the sideline or we dictate the passes and dribbles centrally and 'surround' the player to win the ball in central positions. We also decide if we will sometimes drop lower for the opposition to advance so we can play behind them when winning the ball. This is done if we scout that the opposition centre-backs are slower than our two strikers. This means we will 'outrun' them in the space they leave behind. c) When winning the ball we want to exploit space behind their backline as the priority which means that a player(s) need to be passing options behind the backline and preferably centrally which is closer to the goal, players winning the ball has to look to play the ball to the player furthest up the pitch. Possession is not a priority but scoring goals as fast as possible is. d) When winning the ball we stay as central as possible with passes and dribbling. We use the width of the penalty area (44 yards) as the preferable dimension when transitioning. We want to stay within this width. The wider the team plays the ball, the more time the opposition has to block the middle. PLAY AS VERTICALLY AS POSSIBLE! The emphasis is to get the ball to the two strikers and play 1v1 against the CBs. e) We know that most youth players grow up playing against a 1-4-3-3 which means there is one central striker meaning the centre-backs one back press and one can cover. Against 2 strikers this is not possible and many centre-backs do not have the ability to play 1v1 with space behind them. They are not taught the cues to step and press or drop to protect space behind them. They are never taught at youth level. We exploit this deficiency. e) All 11 players must get up the pitch to close the spaces if we lose the ball from our attacking transition so the opposition cannot transition against us and we can counter-press. f) A goal is the best outcome based on the objective of attacking but at the minimum we want to get a shot on goal from a transition. As I grew older, they grew older too.” Seeing that makes me think a lot about, “What will I be like when I reach that age?” In reality, when a person is born, they are moving toward a new life, but at the same time, they are also moving toward death. That is an unavoidable fate for every human being. But during the time we have here, living happily and passionately is a responsibility each of us has. I also try to live every day diligently and happily. On the other hand, when I was in my twenties, I thought that once I reached my thirties and forties, I would be very old, that I would become weaker and lose my strength. But now that I have actually reached this age, I feel healthier than I did back then. Is that just psychological? I do not know. What will my life be like when I reach my fifties, sixties, and seventies? I think about these things a lot these days. Sometimes I feel sad or frustrated, and I have so many thoughts about how I should live my future. Vibe Coding a AAA game with threejs Day 10: Deep dive into world authoring What started as a "i need terrain to build a racing game" slowly evolved to an open world Take a last look at the buildings, because they are getting kicked out next for some really good ones (i don't know how yet, but i'm confident gpt will tell me, but i feel like blender will be involved, ughhh) Anyways, fully reworked the road system, it is now a graph and junctions, bridges, elevations etc. are first class. Previous demos were filled with me carefully placing the race tracks, deleting them, placing them again, and again, until they were okay to show for a demo. Not so fun behind the camera! It's now basically using a very similar system to cities skylines 2, which has really nailed the perfect UX to build road systems. It's also much more flexible now and i believe the world editor can be used for much more than racing games: Rail networks (train game?) or maybe a 3rd person open world game? or actually another cities skylines? who knows, feels like i got a moat on the web now We'll see, after yesterday i've received lots of requests to open source it Which i may actually do at any time if i feel like it, but not for now. There's so many interesting problems with world modeling, i feel like i finally found a rabbit hole worth diving into for a long time! Might have to delay the human designer app until the point where i need humans in the city, we'll see, it'll all eventually come together - it always does Anyways, not gatekeeping, if you have ANY questions on how i solve things, feel free to ask! It’s been a year of growth that was as surprising to live through as it’s been meaningful in hindsight. 2025 moved fast, not just in outcomes, but in how much changed behind the scenes. One of the most important decisions I made this year was bringing on Morgan Williams(M. Will | Blockradar) as Co-Founder and COO. What started as early trust turned into shared ownership. Having someone who’s built and scaled operations at a global level brought clarity, discipline, and balance to how we build Blockradar. Shortly after, we found ourselves in Switzerland 🇨🇭, winning 1st place at the Crypto Valley(Crypto Valley) startup competition. It was a quiet but meaningful moment, proof that work done without noise can still travel far. On a personal note, I moved to London, UK 🇬🇧 this year as a Global Talent. New environment, new pace, new perspective. Distance has a way of sharpening focus and forcing you to think long term. The business scaled quickly. We went from around $1M in monthly volume to touching $50M+ monthly. That kind of growth isn’t just exciting, it comes with real responsibility. Every number represents teams trusting our infrastructure to not break. None of this happens alone. I’m deeply grateful to the team building through ambiguity every day, and to the customers and ecosystem partners who trusted us early and grew with us. Building with the right people changes everything. This year reminded me that real progress often looks boring from the outside. Foundations matter more than hype. Reliability compounds. I often hear people tell me how great they feel after a workout, how it leaves a smile on their face, and brings the stress level of life down to a tolerable level. I have been told by many of my gym members that working out is like therapy for them, how great it feels to move...well let me tell ya , if you think you feel great as an adult after a bout of vigorous movement how the hell do you think children feel? Children who are chock full of boundless energy, with developing brains and bodies and an emotional system that can often change from high to low and back again in a matter of minutes. I can tell you that children need movement much more than any adult ever could. Kids get stressed out, too, while their worries may seem trivial to our super important adult worries. To them, they are very important. The problem is that not all children see the big picture or have the experiences yet to know everything is going to be ok. It's because of this that children need movement and lots of it. It makes them feel better, improves their focus, burns off that nervous energy, and allows them to gain a sense of self and learn their surroundings. But what do we with children, just the opposite: we shorten recess, increase class time,take away physical education, music and art, take one minute tests, 20 minute tests, standardized tests, mid-terms and on and on. we fence them in, lock them down, sit them in front of a box with pictures... If you have children or have the pleasure to work with children, understand that movement/exercise/play goes way beyond just having fun, it is literally the life blood of childhood. No amount of learning ever takes place without some form of movement that has laid down the connections in the brain. Also, the more happy experiences children have, the better chance they will be happy adults. If you have access to kids, get them moving, move in the classroom, move at home, move outside, just move. Chase each other, give high fives, jump, spin, roll, hop, yell, wrestle, and have fun... My Playground 👇

My spoiler free thoughts on Saros so far: I’m definitely finishing this way faster than Returnal. I’m almost at 10 hours now, and if tomorrow goes well, I might actually wrap it up. The game is clearly more approachable, especially if you already understand this style of gameplay. That doesn’t mean it’s “easy”. There’s still plenty of challenge, and the boss fights and the whole gameplay loop have been really good so far. It’s just not the same level of punishment as Returnal, where one death could wipe basically everything and make a whole run feel wasted if you didn’t beat the biome boss. The game looks incredible, and the haptic feedback is on point again. Housemarque really knows how to get the most out of the DualSense and make every action feel great. The atmosphere also deserves a mention. The way the environments, sound design, and pacing come together makes every area feel alive. It’s not just pretty visuals, it’s the whole vibe of the world pulling you in. I’ll admit I would’ve loved the difficulty to match Returnal, but I get why they toned it down. A huge percentage of players didn’t even beat the first boss in Returnal, and Saros gives you ways to adjust the experience. You can push it harder or make it more forgiving depending on how you want to play. It’s also the type of game where the quality genuinely matches the price. You can feel the production value everywhere. And without going into spoilers, the story has my attention. It’s not something spectacular, but it’s engaging enough that I actually care about what’s happening, which rarely happens for me in games. I’m genuinely glad I picked it up. I had a great time today and didn’t even notice the hours passing. If you were interested in Returnal but bounced off the difficulty, or you always wanted to finish it but couldn’t, Saros is absolutely worth trying. The boss fights and the gameplay so far have been really good.
