Here's the obvious truth: Every child has — and has a right to — a mom and a dad. Buying the eggs of one woman and renting the womb of another, then taking that child away from both her mother and the only home she’s ever known, is cruel. It’s worse treatment than we show puppies. Whereas adoption redeems an already broken situation, surrogacy and egg/sperm selling is creating the broken situation. It’s a fulfillment of adult desires at the expense of a child’s needs. And it is always wrong.
