After eight years, several arrests, two tuition fee sponsorship cancellations, and most remarkably a university life dedicated to fighting the infamous gradual fee increment at Makerere University, Musiri David graduated this week. Dan Ayebare #NBSLiveAt9 #NBSUpdates

Crypto is up 20% so all ponzi pushers will be back on FB. Meanwhile, I’ve been teaching people how to earn 20%+ DeFi CashFlow all year during the bloodiest of the bear market. If you want to learn how my students are doing this without fly by night ponzies comment “CashFlow” below. Anyone can do it. In this thread, I will tell you what you need to get started:

Almost 10 years ago on The West Block ‘Plane Talk’ segment, Tom Clark asked me about life after politics. My time with young leaders in the Nation Builders program at Huron University College this week brought this full circle and allows me to contribute to our great country in new ways. 🇨🇦

It hurts to say this, but I won’t be performing at Street Jam at Makerere University tonight. The organizers did their part and paid. But what’s happening during the ongoing guild election campaigns shows how a corrupt system keeps fighting the opposition, and now it’s even affecting spaces like education. This is bigger than music. To all students of Makerere, stand firm and make your voices count. Vote for Kadondi I appreciate your love always… we shall meet again soon ❤️

The Promise was clear : NO STRESS FEE The explanation was without ambiguity: Get admission to tertiary, no stress to look for money from anywhere, just pick your bag and go to school, your fees will be paid to the university as a Grant. This got young Ghanaians excited, they queued to vote for the NDC, and now, they have to stress, pray and hope they find their own money to enter university before applying for a refund. Thousands have been shut out of accessing university in the past two academic years becos they cld not find their money. And this, this is happening at a time when they were promised no stress fees. Even more distressing: You increase the fees by almost 30%. You cannot place any spin on this, it’s a bare faced failure and the effect on the poor who hoped and believed cannot be ignored. #Frakadam

According to the University council, the university looks shabby with business kiosks, for that matter over 400 businesses providing a range of services to mostly students were demolished yesterday leaving students with no alternatives and rendering close to 700 people unemployed. Most of these vendors still had contracts running with the university. It is traumatising and distressing seeing vendors that have served the university community for so many years totally stuck; no compesation was offered and no eviction notice was given after a court ruling in favour of the university. Attempts by the students to block the eviction exercise failed leaving 10 of them in detention at Wandegeya police station. Letters to the university by the students guild leadership calling on the university to halt the exercise were ignored. Madam Lorna Magara, Yusuf Kiranda was there not a better way to handle this.

Christiana Oppong, a Ghanaian international student pursuing an MBA in Supply Chain Management at the University of Memphis in the United States, is appealing for urgent financial assistance after her home country scholarship failed to disburse funds for her tuition. According to her, the university is demanding a payment of $23,000 to cover her outstanding tuition and fees. With only two weeks left to settle the amount, she fears she could be forced to halt her education. As an international student, Christiana is permitted to work only 20 hours per week, making it virtually impossible to raise such a substantial sum on her own. She is appealing to the public and benevolent individuals to support her by donating to a GoFundMe account she has created

In a world full of Hasan Piker Marxists, be a Charlie Kirk conservative. An honor to speak at Yale University this week, and will never stop fighting for our generation to rebuild the American Dream--especially as violent voices seek to rip it apart forever.
