During takeoff on October 19, 2024, a Ryan Navion A experienced a loss of control at Aero Estates Airport in Belleville, Illinois. Airport surveillance footage shows the aircraft lifting off in a nose-high attitude, settling back onto the runway, and bouncing hard multiple times. On the final bounce, the right main wheel separated and the horizontal stabilizer struck the ground, causing substantial damage. The NTSB found no mechanical failures and determined the accident was caused by the pilot’s failure to maintain control during takeoff 📸 by ig/runthisshitt

A Delta airlines Airbus A350-941 aircraft (N503DN) clips vertical stabilizer off the Delta Connection Bombardier CRJ-900LR plane (N302PQ), operating flight DL5526.
