After Haskell’s chat started making Jeffrey Epstein jokes, Haskell explained why he doesn’t joke about it and said he believes it can make serious issues become normalized😳 “I don’t joke about stuff like that, the government wants us to turn it into jokes so it can become normalized”

Whether you agree or not, it's fair to say some topics are too serious for jokes, especially when they involve real victims.

He's absolutely right; the same goes for Charlie Kirk. Countless memes have been made about them and have caused a sense of normality when the things that have happened are horrible

Been say shit like this for the longest time man. People don’t even have to do anything physical, the bare minimum they can do is just not joke about it.

Haskell said he doesn’t joke about Epstein because 'the government wants us to turn it into jokes so it can become normalized' 😳 Real take

facts, glorification of crimes is a very effortless way to joke around that does more harm than good

Some stories are bigger than the memes. Keeping the focus on the victims isn't a bad thing. 👍

Humour is different for everyone, when it comes to words or race or sex I dont care but when they're eating kids we should probably solve that before joking about it

Well said, not maybe creators would say that stuff but I agree. I find those jokes so dumb and seems that the one’s “joking” about stuff like that ac fuck with it and don’t realise how it’s rotting their brain to be desensitised to it all.

It's a classic tactic of normalization, where trivializing serious issues like Epstein's crimes makes it easier for the powerful to sweep their wrongdoings under the rug.

Haskell’s point is the tension: jokes can make serious issues feel normal, and once that happens, the seriousness gets easier to dismiss.

It’s kind of the same with the Kirk jokes. We’ve normalized shit that isn’t supposed to be normalized at all. Guy got assassinated in front of his own children, and within a week his face was turned into a meme.

Not every topic needs to become a meme. Sometimes refusing to turn something serious into entertainment is also a way of showing respect for the people affected.

I think humor is a way to cope with tragic events or situations, but that’s just my viewpoint. Not everything is a psyop, cope-joking about a serious situation doesn’t mean the situation isn’t still serious and messed up.
