Thank you @davidholtactor for highlighting this important issue affecting voice artists across the world.

@LeonieJanaS @symeonbrown @Channel4News The AI didn't steal it. A human stole it and used the AI to create something else. Yes, it's a problem but let's stop blaming the tools and start prosecuting the Tools who steal it in the first place. Let's stop stigmatising AI because it isn't the problem.

@symeonbrown @Channel4News We need stronger laws indeed to protect artists and creators in general, otherwise so many fields will suffer.

@symeonbrown @Channel4News I have to ask, was his voice stolen or did David undertake a job where the use included Voice modelling for use for AI? I know a lot of people who undertook work which included this use but it was hidden deep in T's&C's.

@Lauloknows @symeonbrown @Channel4News This is fucking unholy…

@PhilosophyTube @symeonbrown @Channel4News I just sent this to by copyright lawyer friends

@symeonbrown @Channel4News How did David actually find out, does anyone know?

@symeonbrown @Channel4News Thanks for speaking out @davidholtactor We need legal frameworks to protect ALL intellectual property in ALL sectors from AI infringement. Not just artists performances and likeness.
