We are not okay, and that’s okay to say. I wish I could tell you that we are standing here and that the rest of the world is standing with us. With you. Sadly I can’t say that. There is a loud and aggressive minority around the world who doesn’t get, that being murdered at a peace festival does not equal resistance. I do however, know that we are standing here on behalf of all those people in the world, with moral clarity. And there are a lot of them. And there are many who want to be here with you. And they are here with you at heart. On October 7th, your loved ones went to Nova. We call it a peace music festival because that’s what it was—a place to make new friends, to let loos explore and celebrate life. And this juxtaposition hurts the most —because on that day, the light your loved ones were, was met with the most unimaginable darkness. Our lives will never be the same. But today, as we remember them, we also make a promise: to honor their memory by living as they would have. As we stand here in grief, we have a message to the world: we will not be defeated. Israel was attacked on October 7th and every day since, for the crime of existing. For the audacity of just being here. But we are here, and we are here to stay. Hi GoBid as a proudly South African company we at View4You disagree with the fact that people cannot run diagnostics, check the car to see if it starts check for any warning lights, check fluids on your cars. We understand moving them is not doable like all other auctions. Our founder recently reached out to your ambassador mumbo repairs and asked Him why your cars are not auctioned with a report stating the truth about the car as we have come across cases of possible mileage fraud and a case of a cloned car at GoBid. The response we received was that it would be difficult as the quantities are large and it would be costly. He also stated these cars are from various banks insurers etc. He further stated that GoBid will allow us to do our own inspections before we bid. His answers are acceptable and understandable. However, they do depict or show a lack of or no interest in protecting the consumer. Now today we were stopped from running a diagnostic, we were not allowed to get the car started and we were also not allowed to check the fluids. How can people bid confidently with these limitations? Now our humble request is, please permit us to run our checks thoroughly to ensure we know what we are bidding on. All other auctions permit such and it’s only you who does not allow it. A diagnostic test is crucial in the process of practicing due diligence, if you do not want us to run a diagnostic, can you please run it and place the report on the windscreen of your cars that can be diagnosed? It took us two months to begin rebuilding and arranging our home. And we are still burdened with debts we have not been able to repay, due to the overwhelming cost of rebuilding our home. To this day, we are still clearing rubble from inside it. And the answer to the question is no — the house is not safe. On the very first night, pieces of plaster fell from the ceiling onto the bed. We were forced to remove all the plaster from the walls with our own hands. We are still trying to settle and adapt, using every possible way just to live. We still love our home. Even though a large part of it has been removed — the kitchen, the hallway, and part of the living room — we continue to see it as our home, our first and last refuge.
