I'm replying this to people who are tagging me & asking why I dint meet the Sanitation workers this time: I'm not in Chennai this week. I would definitely have met and stood with them if I was in town. They have every right to ask for their demands to be fulfilled. Meanwhile as per TVK Layola Mani 's speech, Minister Rajmohan has held initial meetings and is trying to resolve the workers issues at the earliest. Protest permissions are being arranged by CMOTamilNadu who will meet them soon as per video below. Appreciate Advocate Bharathi for his civilized leadership in this tense situation. Hoping for the best beneficial solution to our workers at the earliest. #sanitationworkers #protest

“You’re ignoring the fact that inflation has been dropping consistently for nine months, we’re now at 15.15%, and it’s projected to reach single digits this year. You’re also ignoring the impact of the tax reforms. According to a BusinessDay report yesterday, 90% of Nigerian workers have seen an increase in their take-home pay, just from the January salary alone.”

#WATCH | Ranchi, Jharkhand: On students' protest over examination issues, Jharkhand Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore says, “…No such committee has been constituted. A group of ministers, including Deepika Pandey Singh, Sudivya Kumar Sonu, Sanjay Prasad Yadav, and Chamra Linda, has indeed been formed, but their role is merely to monitor the ongoing agitation; they have not been tasked with conducting the actual negotiations. The government and the Chief Minister himself have stated today that the extent of our support and sensitivity towards students cannot be demonstrated by literally tearing open one's chest. We believe in action and will do everything that serves the students' interests. This message has been conveyed to them. It is now up to the students to decide when and how they wish to engage in dialogue with the government…”

#WATCH | Delhi: Saurav Das, Chief Spokesperson, Cockroach Janta Party, says, "I spoke with Sonam Wangchuk several times today. The conclusion was that this peaceful protest should remain peaceful. He has also publicly appealed to all protesters to maintain peace and conduct this protest in the right manner... In previous protests in this country, anti-social elements planted by the ruling regime infiltrate and derail the entire protest, then ultimately, those protesting peacefully are blamed, and this should not happen." On Union Minister JP Nadda's press conference, he says, "JP Nadda should be ashamed. People have been sitting here for over 30 days... He is the one doing the politics... Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation is non-negotiable... Without this, the protest will continue. It will continue for as long as it has to." (22.07)
