Used emacs since ~2016 (vim before that) but broken unicode width rendering (which I've mostly just avoided by never using unicode) is finally driving me to ... neovim? Which appears to be the only major terminal editor that can correctly handle unicode rendering / editing?

Skate 3 has been 100% recompiled for PC. It's reached it's 2.0 update which introduces a fully native renderer enabling 2x+ the FPS at 1/4 the GPU power, and Apple Silicon went from 25 to 250 FPS at 4K. Originally starting with rexglue, progression has advanced far enough to fully abandon its reliance on emulation via xenia for GPU rendering. This is proof of what's possible, there is plenty to be excited for! Go try it out!!

Minecraft is now rendering on a PS5 emulator. It's still heavily glitched, but this is another meaningful step for PS5 emulation. Current progress: • Main menu boots • World loads • Some blocks, like beds, render correctly • Basic rendering pipeline appears functional The biggest issue now seems to be texture handling. The PS5's texture memory still isn't being translated correctly into Vulkan images, causing most textures to break. It's far from playable, but every correctly rendered object is another clue that the emulator is moving in the right direction. Credit: discord/Arbis

This video CLEARLY shows 2 RED, fully functioning taillights. Idc what anyone says, if that taillight were "broken" the way that it was in the crime scene photos, it would NOT be lighting up like that, especially with the diffusers broken. Not to mention, Maureen Hartnett and Ashley Vallier, the CSI techs, didn't do the reconstruction of the taillight until 3/2/23, OVER A YEAR after John O'Keefe was killed. I will never forget Mike Michaels video PROVING that if that taillight were broken the way they say it was, with only 1 small piece still intact, the diffusers broken out, the metal piece broken off, THERE WOULD BE NO LIGHT STILL GOING TO THAT TAILLIGHT! The diffusers make the light. Those 2 taillights in the still images DO NOT MATCH. Idgaf what anyone says, her taillight was not hit, or broken, by John O'Keefe's arm. It's not possible for an arm to do that WITH NO BRUISES OR BROKEN BONES!!! To break THICK plastic and METAL?? You're crazy if you think that happened. You can do some pretty fun realtime VFX once the depth output is just another (Type)GPU buffer :D I basically yoinked my old 3D fire sim (that is actually a fluid sim but do not tell anyone) and plugged it into the depth pipeline together with hand tracking Everything here is built from scratch in TypeGPU, so inference, simulation and rendering can share GPU resources and interleave passes directly. That’s 2 NN inferences, a full 3D fluid sim, relighting and rendering in one command encoder, still under 16 ms with no CPU sync in between
