After Long Beach race, INDYCAR announced it mistakenly didn't disable its push-to-pass system prior to the Lap 61 restart. None of the 12 drivers who used it prior to the line where it was supposed to be activated were penalized. Reaction today from Palou, Rahal, Rossi and Power:

Bubba Wallace sounded very pleased with the way the 23 team managed their race. "We had no hiccups. No incidents on track, no yellow line to go under and get penalized," he grinned. "Just a good, solid night. Obviously want more, but it was good enough for sixth." Asked Bubba a bit about what it was like running a way longer race at North Wilkesboro compared to the All-Star Races here. He admitted he was surprised how few cars finished on the lead lap - There were only six, and he was the last one. "It was just nice to be on that side of the ball to where we were in the front group and didn't have to really worry about it."

My 8th NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts race was here. I was super glad to come from around last to running top 20 and finish 21st especially after crashing on lap 2 of my first 2-miler the year prior. Fun racetrack, hope it gets revived one day.
