So 2 people with the same conditions/health issues that make working almost impossible, the new 2025 claimant has to find work or be denied benefits and medication but the pre 2025 claimant doesn't have to worry about any of that 🤔 not sure if that's moral let alone fair.

DWP set work commitments when you are waiting for WCA , they badger people , now, with mental health issues saying you could work from home - there aren't vacancies , WFH often just surveys , polls not real work - pension credit for over 60s who have paid in 35+ yrs

I have cervical myelopathy and have been unable to work since 2018, I’m on uc and the disability side of uc and pip since then. So I don’t have anything to worry about?

Hi Jason, No one in the Limited Capability for Work Related Activity (LCWRA) or Limited Capability for Work (LCW) groups will face benefit sanctions and all support offered will be voluntary. I hope this helps, Leigh at Scope

So more emphasis on working from home which totally contradicts the goverment’s push to get people back into the office after COVID ? Disabled People lost jobs because of it ! NHS - make treating disabled ppl more of a priority …. 🤷♀️ Disabled ppl lose jobs because of it !!!

I truly hope labour make a big show of tearjng this plan up if/when they come to power. The fact I haven't heard them condemning it is concerning

Employers are generally not ready to / want to embrace onboarding disabled employees especially if they have an invisible disability such as Fibromyalgia,CFS/ME/osteoporosis/MSK etc. Who will be responsible for ensuring discrimination/victimisation/harassment doesn’t happen?

The government are removing the criteria around sickness and disability benefit qualification that could be challenged in tribunals and replacing them with arbitrary rules defined by a 'job coach'. A loss of existing rights that should be legally fought before it becomes law.
