Warner tells Margaret Brennan he would rather Trump ask current DNI Tulsi Gabbard to stay in the role until Clayton is confirmed, rather than having Bill Pulte serve in the interim. “I’ve had heads of our intelligence communities say to us they are terrified of showing [Pulte] information. I’ve had foreign governments express huge concern,” Warner says.

Mike Davis: Even if the Senate confirms Jay Clayton as the next DNI, President Trump does not have to sign his commission and swear him in until President Trump is ready. I don't think President Trump should wait to have Jay clayton confirmed. Have him confirmed and then he can just hang out until Bill Pulte has gone through and broken every piece of China in DNI. 🇺🇸 Mike Davis 🇺🇸
