And if the Democrats in the city of Chicago, the state of Illinois, and the country of USA refuses to listen to us, then it is time for us to start looking at other alternatives. We are looking at all the alternatives. We will not step aside and continue to be mistreated. We will not continue to be disrespected. I'm looking at people who are coming here from another country giving work visas, giving social security cards. Nobody is asking them what walk of life that they come from. You don't think that our brothers who have been in prison, out and who have changed their lives will benefit for the same opportunities that we're giving these migrants. And I'm not saying that they don't deserve those opportunities. But what I am saying is we deserve them first. What I am saying is you can't continue to put us on the back burner and think that we're going to continue to be okay with it. We've done that for long enough. And what we're saying here today is that is no longer acceptable to our governor that you're not going to continue to set money aside for people who don't live here and disrespect, mistreat and forget about us. You've forgotten about us. You have treated us as if we don't matter and we're saying to you you're not going to continue to do this. We're saying to you to see us. You're dumping people into our communities who are going to at some point move us out of the say to you, if you want to glimpse into what's going to happen, look at how people of color are being treated in Venezuela right now. We seem to forget that Venezuela was one of the first places that had African slaves that they were taken to. We're forgetting about that. And so we're forgetting that there are blacks in Venezuela who are being treated the same way we are. And so for us to expect that they're going to come here and be put into society and treat us differently is a pipe drain.”

Incredible last few minutes of the Rick Rubin / Adam Neumann interview. I got chills listening to this. --- Adam: We'll connected to this week's portion. We all have something that we're slaves to. We all have an addiction to anger, to ego, to power, whatever it is, idol worship that we have. We all have an Egypt. We all need to leave that Egypt, come out of it. When we come out of that Egypt, we all face a Red Sea. When we see that Red Sea, we all need to have the courage to walk into it so far that we drown. Only when we're willing to drown will the Red Sea be split and we'll go to our next level. We then go to our next level. We see the Red Sea split. Suddenly we're like, oh, everything is okay. And we forget. The moment we forget, we step into the desert. We all have to walk through our version of desert. That desert is between us, us, and God. No one else. The only decision we get to have is how long we're going to journey through that desert. Are we going to journey for 14 days like the children of Israel were supposed to? Or are we going to journey for 40 years because we're not learning our lesson? Our choice is not, are we going to get into the desert or not? It's how long will we be in. And once we go out of that desert, we all have our version of the promised land. And if we have the courage to look inside, see our own correction, our own limitation, look at it clearly now and say, I see you, and I'm going to get over it. I'm going to learn. I'm going to grow. Brian Cashman is asked how aggressively the Yankees pursued a shortstop on the trade market: "We tried to evaluate all opportunities on the marketplace...with that being said, I don't think there were lots of opportunities that existed that were upgrades for us. We like the players that we have, and we like the players that we have on the come. Did we look to upgrade, engage on infield opportunities?...there was nothing we were able to find there. It was going to be a high bar. We do think that we have the players, overall, that can compete for a championship. We're happy that we were able to bring in Ramos and Garcia to solve some of the problems. We're looking forward now to getting the other guys back from the IL, to fortify and finish this off super-charged."

We would prefer the Strait of Hormoz is not closed. If the Strait of Hormoz is closed it causes us harm too. We will also suffer damage. We have always emphasized that we will close the Strait of Hormoz when the Persian Gulf cannot be used by us. If the Persian Gulf cannot be used by us then we will also make the Persian Gulf not usable for others. This is our policy. The people that have deprived us from that Gulf, they must also be deprived. Kudos to Dr. Phil because this is one of the best I've seen from a mainstream voice in discussing the, potential, issues with Disclosure that something more advanced is on this planet with us. It was uploaded to his YT on May 8th of this year.) ~ Dr. Phil: "I mean, think about it. Doesn't it cause us to question the meaning of humanity and the cosmos? Wouldn't it change that? Wouldn't it cause us to have to reexamine philosophy, religion, personal worldviews? "Potential reframing of human exceptionalism that we base our value systems on, is that we're at the top of the food chain. That there is human exceptionalism. That we, as humans, are the be-all and end-all of this world. And then, all of a sudden, we find out, not true. To them, we could be like a fungus. "People have posed questions like, 'Well, if they're here, why haven't they talked to us? Why haven't they identified themselves to us?' It may be that we're so minuscule and irrelevant, why would they bother. And then, in terms of community dynamics, the world, it could be very divisive. It could increase everything that we do, culturally, religiously, political identities. Rumors, and misinformation could flourish, especially on the web. Oh my God, can you imagine what would start flying around then? Making trusted communicators really crucial. And if there's a crisis of confidence with the government because they've lied to you for so long, where do you go to get real information? "And the long-term mental health aspects when you don't know the motives or the intent of these entities could create chronic worry, conspiracy thinking, paranoia, feelings of unbelievable inadequacy. Some may celebrate with renewed optimism, like 'Wow, look what we found! These people, if they can do all this, maybe they can cure all the diseases. They can come up with solutions to problems. This is great!' "How would governments react (laughs)? Russia, China, United States would all be scrambling to establish some kind of process for monitoring potential collaboration. Our intelligence communities would go crazy. Our Department of Defense, our science agencies would have to start redoing everything, revisiting risk assessment. Here's more from our conversation with Castanza after the AHSAA private school meeting today. He said the meeting was "beyond standing room only with a dozen members on a zoom call as well." "I think there may be some adjustments. We're going to force some efforts to try and advocate for some of the challenges that were presented with the reclassification but we want to stay together." "From this point forward, I think conversations have to be had with the AHSAA and at no point have they made us feel like we don't have an opportunity to come to the table, so we're going to take them up on that opportunity.."
