Today We head to Court after all the Tuju arrest drama yesterday where he was manhandled by DCI officers who forcefully tried to remove him from Hon Kalonzo’s car and bundle him into their subaru, in the process seriously injuring his back that had been previously injured in a car accident.Also injured was a young medic who was attending to him at Karen police station. There is more than meets the eye in the manner the Tuju issue has been handled by the State and the level of force deployed from his Dari hotel where hundreds of goons and police officers, land cruisers and subarus swarmed at ungodly hours,to his Karen residence and Karen police station where he was roughed up with his lawyers and doctors! We demand due process and respect for the rule of law, the Constitution and all laws of Our land including the National Police Service Act which requires our Police to act not as a Force but as a Service striving for the highest standards of professionalism, discipline and and respect for human rights including the rights of suspects during and after arrest.What We saw yesterday were the lowest standards of professionalism and an urgent need for further police reforms.

HISTORYSHEETER ROWDY ARRESTED; FAMILY ATTACKED POLICEMEN A 26-year-old history-sheeter was arrested during a ganja raid in Pulianthope after police seized narcotic substances from his residence. Police also registered a separate case against his relatives for attacking officers during the operation. A video of the altercation later circulated on social media. Acting on a tip-off about the sale of ganj in the Pulianthope, a team from the Basin Bridge Police Station, led by Sub-Inspector Krishnakumar and other personnel, conducted a raid on a house in Gandhi Nagar Fifth Street on Sunday night. The house belonged to Nandakumar, 26, who is listed as a history-sheeter by the police. During the search, officers seized 29 packets of ganja weighing a total of 10 grams and six syringes from the premises. Police said women present in the house initially objected to the search and attempted to prevent officers from carrying out the raid. After Nandakumar was arrested and police attempted to take him into custody, his mother and other female relatives assaulted the officers. A seven-year-old boy died after his neck got trapped in the hydraulic door of a parked bus at a garage in Gujarat's Vadodara, police said. The incident happened on Wednesday evening at a garage on the outskirts of Vadodara. The child, identified as Divyesh Rathwa, was playing near the garage when he entered the parked bus. Family Demands Justice After Their Son Was Allegedly Sh%t De@d By Police Officers In Port Harcourt Anthony, a young man, was allegedly sh%t d+ad by police officers on Friday, August 29, along Agip by Ada-George Road in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, leaving his family demanding justice. According to his sister, Anthony was driving a Lexus when he was allegedly chased by police officers before being sh%t. She claimed that he was still breathing after the sh%%ting, but the officers allegedly pulled him out of the vehicle, removed his gold chain and rings, abandoned him on the road in the rain and drove away in his car. Anthony was reportedly later discovered on the road by a passerby, who rushed him to a hospital. However, he was said to have d+ed from his inj¥ries. Following his d+ath, youths reportedly stormed a police station to protest, demanding answers over the circumstances surrounding the shooting. As tensions grew, police officers visited Anthony’s family home to appeal for calm. A video from the visit showed a crowd booing the officers as they attempted to speak with the grieving family. The police reportedly said an autopsy would be conducted to determine the circumstances surrounding Anthony’s d+ath.
