After roasting JD Vance over calling aliens demons, Rogan asks Jesse, "Where's the evidence these 'demons' are doing anything demonic?" Jesse Michels steps up to inform Rogan that Jacques Vallee, one of the most respected researchers in modern history, will often say: "Some of this stuff does pattern match...

@HikingAbductee @AlchemyAmerican If anyone wants to get into the deep weeds on this topic, Nathaniel Gillis is probably as close to the bullseye as anyone, and Jaques is certainly no slouch. Deceptive is way too light a word, they appear as we would like to see them, often two people together won’t see the same

@AlchemyAmerican Aliens existed before humans invented demonology. Using the term demons is for people with weak consciousness that can’t handle the nihilistic truths of reality. Thats where religion protects them and reforms their thoughts.

@AlchemyAmerican Vallee does not believe the phenomenon is demonic When he wrote that, he was referencing the religious description of "demons" as deceptive That doesn't imply they are malevolently deceptive or demonic

@AlchemyAmerican Daemons are also dead and spirits so if any of them are Daemons then they would be possessing something biological. The UAP I have personally seen were not ships.

Joe Rogan and Jesse Michels just questioned whether JD Vance really believes UFOs are “DEMONS” or if he’s just telling Christian voters what they want to hear: CONTEXT: Vance really has publicly connected UFOs to demons. Earlier this year, he told Benny Johnson: “I don’t think they’re aliens. I think they’re demons anyway.” He said that when he hears about seemingly otherworldly beings, his instinct is to interpret them through his Christian worldview and pointing out that religions have described powerful supernatural beings for thousands of years. That wasn’t completely random. Vance converted to Catholicism in 2019 after previously describing himself as having gone through an atheist period. And politically, Christian voters are a massive part of the coalition he serves. Pew found that in the 2024 election: • 81% of White evangelical Protestants voted for Trump. • Trump also won 55% of Catholic voters. That doesn’t prove Vance is pandering. But it explains why Michels thinks the “demon” framing deserves scrutiny. ROGAN: “I pressed him on that. He didn’t really have a good explanation for why he called aliens demons.” MICHELS: “He kind of laughed very uncomfortably because he didn’t know what to say.” “He says he hasn’t had time to look into it.” ROGAN: “He’s had plenty of time to go to church. Like listen bro just look into it.” WORTH NOTING: Here’s the wrinkle that makes this more complicated: When Rogan actually challenged Vance about the demon theory during their July interview, Vance gave a much more nuanced explanation than “UFOs are literally demons.” His argument was essentially this: If some extremely advanced, nonhuman intelligence appeared to humans, possessed capabilities that looked supernatural and behaved maliciously, people throughout history might have interpreted that being as a demon even if it were actually some technologically advanced intelligence. And when Rogan pushed him on whether aliens and demons could simply be two completely different things, Vance conceded that they absolutely could. So Vance’s position appears to have evolved from: “I think they’re demons.” to something closer to: “A sufficiently powerful malicious nonhuman intelligence might be indistinguishable from what humans historically called a demon.” That’s a much different claim. There’s also a second part of Michels’ criticism that’s harder for Vance to dodge. Vance has described himself as “obsessed” with UFOs, said he has access to extremely high levels of classified information, and publicly promised: “I’m going to get to the bottom of the UFO files.” Yet he has also repeatedly acknowledged that he simply hasn’t made investigating them a priority yet. And despite all the speculation surrounding aliens, demons, interdimensional beings and secret programs, the Pentagon’s official UAP office still says it has found no verifiable evidence of extraterrestrial beings, activity or technology. So there are really two unanswered questions here: Does JD Vance genuinely believe the “demon” framework is the best explanation for UAP or is Michels right that religious language is partly political signaling? And perhaps more importantly: MAIN TAKEAWAY: If the Vice President is genuinely obsessed with this subject and has extraordinary access to classified information…why speculate publicly before actually looking at the files?
