After seeing players immediately disable Lumen in other games, I figured I'd be sneaky and avoid using that word in the settings... Dynamic indirect lighting plays a BIG part in the game's mood and I optimized the heck out of it to get great framerates! #UE5

Optimize Time Between Plays During Team Periods In between plays during team periods, there’s a good 30-45 seconds of players standing around. Here’s how we optimized it: Players meet with their position coach after every play while the scout gets set. Players tell their coaches what they saw, how they handled it, and to be coached up. This is a great way to get all of your coaches involved during team periods. We script out all of the plays so coaches know exactly where to look and how to coach it before the play even happens. So last night at the movies, I got a notification that my right tire pressure was low, almost flat. I feared that someone had slashed it, but after the movie was done, went outside to check. We found a nail in the tire immediately and I was so happy that I used my referral credits just last week to purchase a tire air compressor in the Tesla shop. I had credits that were going to expire and I figured while I might as well get some safety related things to put in my car since I’m having a baby soon and immediately had a use for it!! This thing works amazingly. I just thought that the timing was so serendipitous and wanted to share. Someone on X recommended I get one for my trunk and so thank you, great product!

ode 🥺 "The reason why I, who used to cry because I didn't want to be in a band, ended up falling in love with it is because through music and the stage, whether in a small or big way, I can be part of it and make a sound."

Klay Thompson: “I can’t wait to put on the Heat gear and get to work. What a great opportunity, especially in this point of my career to play with so much greatness. And being in a great city that embraces championship mindset and players that want to be great” GOOSIES (via Brendan Tobin)

It’s gonna be so surreal taking in a game from a seat and seeing the completed project. The amount of hours I spent out there is unreal. I can’t wait to be on the other side having a beer and watching the guys!

Shane Baz on this play where he & Adley Rutschman nearly collided: "I know he likes to talk about how he played football and all that, but I figured I'd just get out of the way & take the out." Rutschman, in case anyone forgot, once tackled Christian McCaffrey in a college game

Examples of Housewives (including Dorit) using the word attacked with each other, which has been done for years before Garcelle ever became a “housewife.” If the women have to walk on eggshells and avoid saying regular words that they say to each other all the time, in order to avoid Garcelle making it a race issue, then she should be on a different show. #RHOBH

dude GPT-6 Astra is some kind of turbo-AGI machine god for 3D games. It one-shot this in 45 minutes for hardly a couple % of my quota. I figured out how to get great graphics out of it. The trick is image gen. I'll share the process below.

Drake Maye likes practicing in the cold: “…Good to get used to playing in that weather. I think it’s a part of playing up here…Important for us to get out there and embrace being in this weather. I think it’s good to be able to practice in it. I think it’s an advantage.” WEEI #NEPats

Great example of Alex Vlasic working to be more offensive this season. Last year he would have dumped this puck in, but now he skates in the zone and feeds Bertuzzi for a chance. I asked him about plays like these this morning: "I think I have some offensive ability to my game. I need to jump up in the play [and] continue to get that offensive side out of my game..."

A few people have asked me about how I handle the lighting for my renders, so I figured it'd be good to share in case someone wants to replicate the technique! The lighting is completely artificial, handled from within the shader using a normal node for each "light source."

Based on the WWDC 2026 leaks, I tried to recreate the iOS 27 revamped Siri interaction inside the Dynamic Island in swift ui with lots of different settings and some custom shaders. And yeah, if it’s like that, it will be kinda boring going from a rainbow like ui to a monochrome one.
