After some Saturday night debugging, I finally got Google Sheets running in Ladybird 🤓🧮 It's glitchy and unstable, but this is solid progress! Been told many times over the years that "you'll never get complex stuff like Google Docs running" lmao 😄

bro these people are making $115k/month selling google sheets to women found this brand called "smart women society" and honestly it's genius. took the same budgeting/planner products everyone sells but went ALL IN on one angle women empowerment and built an entire brand around it. 64+ ads running for 5+ months straight. same spreadsheets you've seen everywhere, just completely repositioned for women specifically. that's literally the only difference. and they're not selling just one product they got 24 different products testing different pain points within the same audience. career planners, travel planners, budgeting tools, relationship guides, self-care stuff... all targeting the same woman, just different problems. their ads? mostly video testimonials + simple videos of the spreadsheet on a laptop with text overlays. and some static image ads testing different hooks like "the best budgeting tool I've ever used" basic stuff but it works. this is what I keep saying the product almost doesn't matter. it's about finding YOUR angle and going deep with one audience. these are literally google sheets and notion templates but they wrapped it in the right positioning and now they're printing $115k/month.

OK, I have a definitive word on the CJ Abrams play from today's Pittsburgh Pirates at Washington Nationals game after talking with Elias Sports Bureau on this. This play will stay as a sacrifice fly. The originial ruling of NOT a sacrifice fly was for the exact same reason that I thought, which is that the infielder is not running into the outfield, which is year's past would have been correct As it was explained to me, in past years, an infielder had to be running almost in a straight line towards the outfield wall to be considered "running in the outfield". Here, since he is running, and he ends up further away from home (157 feet) than when he started (145 feet), this is going to count as a sacrifice fly. That definition is changing, in part from this play to help bring greater consistency, and to take some of the guesswork out of it (the argument that he is running into the outfield as opposed to more parallel). Now, folks all the time ask "why doesn't MLB publish the OS Manual" and I always say because it is a living document that can have the wording change, and the wording for this play will be modified to something like "more towards the outfield wall than towards home plate" to eliminate any confusion. The big key to this play is that he was running on a full sprint. Also, and this is helpful for me, but for all fly ball outs that score a run, Elias Saba reviews to ensure consistency. So, yes, it's a sacrifice fly, and now that I have that info from Elias themselves, that sort of settles this one. Sounds like the guidelines for this definition will be changing, either this season, or certainly for next season.

I took this with the intention of sharing it earlier but wimped out. Changed my mind though because I figured it might help motivate someone. I started running again 4 weeks ago after almost no running in the last 10+ years. In just a month, I knocked out an unofficial half marathon. Not only that, but it felt easy enough to talk 11.5 miles in without being winded. I’m not running fast, in fact I’m really slow at around a 12min/mile pace, but that’s the point I want to make. Running at a low heart rate does amazing things. If you want to try out this style, look up zone 2 training. Or, just go out and do some extended exercise (walk/jog) while keeping your heart rate around 130-145. Walk if you go over that upper end, even I had to when I started. Stay consistent, and you’ll see improvement relatively quickly.

AM2R is a triumph. The original Metroid 2 on Game Boy was my first Metroid game, back when I was about 7. I've since played it about ten times. Over the years I've played all the 2D Metroids over and over, 5 to 20 times each. I don't usually play fan games, but this week I decided to finally give AM2R a shot (on Hard with an Xbox controller), and I gotta say... it's fantastic. It's simultaneously a more faithful remake than Samus Returns, and more satisfying to play and 100% complete. I like Samus Returns alright -- it's probably my least favorite 2D Metroid, still a good game though. But I think AM2R is even better.

If you disable music, you'll hear a man speak to James over the prison's speakers. I can hear "you've killed somebody", but can't make out the rest. He sounds exactly like the Brookhaven director, so I assume it's him. It's possible he's watching James throughout the game, it's hinted a few times in SH2R and implied strongly in the official SH2 novel. This triggers after picking up the Lightest Weight, in the chapel. #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remake

I've been playing #DavetheDiver and got sooo addicted to it (You were right this is my type of game lol) i LOVE the art style and the characters are so entertaining lol This is sooo wholesome, relaxing & stressful in many ways lol I don't even know how to describe the game to someone cause theres so many different things to do here ✨🖤 Also the social media in-game aspect here got me so invested lol It's free on ps plus so give it shot. Trust, you'll get hooked too lol

What’s happening here - partly - is #Humberto is now forecast to be a Cat 5 monster #Hurricane and is exerting an even bigger influence on #Imelda, helping to pull it away like a magnet. Also the upper low in SE is now forecast to be a bit weaker exerting less influence. This is not set in stone, and it may shift back, but it’s a good sign. It’s worth noting the Google AI has been pretty consistent for days with most members showing a stall, then turn east out to sea. Fingers crossed!

I lost count of how many times I’ve been called a horse, look like a man or been told I have too many muscles. I remember in high school and college, I would go through magazines and cut out images of women who looked strong and had muscles. I would cut out positive and encouraging phrases that would motivate me. To go to the gym, to try new activities, running, lifting weights, outrigger paddle boarding, surfing. We should be uplifting others and encouraging one another to better themselves. No matter what. Find a community and environment that supports and uplifts you. He’s going to be getting punched in the face.” I’ve seen a lot of people, possibly newer fans, out here waiting for the UFC and Dana White to condemn Sean Strickland’s press conference… especially with the new CBS and Paramount partnership. But Dana has already responded to Strickland’s comments many times. He believes it’s “part of what make this sport is so great.” If you don’t like someone or something they said, you can just “tune in” and watch them get punched in the face. Historically, that hasn’t always been his stance if you go back far enough. But in recent years, he’s been very adamant about this approach.

Today was wild. I was in central Bangkok when the worst earthquake in 30 years hit. I’d just wrapped a catch-up with Saimon, talking about GDC, Web3 gaming, AI etc. After brunch, he left, and I decided to stay behind at the café to get some work in. Ten minutes later, everything started spinning. I thought I was just feeling fatigued. But then the floor swayed. Hard. The waitress ran out and told everyone to evacuate. Outside, I saw a tower across the street literally twisting like Jenga. People started filming. I looked up and thought, are we seriously stopping here to record this? It felt surreal. Then people started running. So I ran too. I was in the busiest part of town, surrounded by glass buildings and traffic. No car. I jumped on a motorbike to get to my son, then switched to a car to head to my mum’s. What should’ve been a short trip took five hours. Worst traffic I’ve ever experienced. Trains were down. Underground shut. Bridges damaged. No clear info , just fake news flying everywhere. My phone was slightly over 10%, but I managed to preserve the last bit of battery to call, navigate, and make sure we got to my mum’s safely. Now that I’m home, I’m still processing it all. Life is strange. One moment you’re talking AI over coffee. The next, you’re running through a city that feels like one wrong move could change everything. I’m grateful we’re okay. But this shook me deeply. Really hope everyone is ok.
