I thought night 1 of the DNC was, well, awkward. Dems were trying to do two things at once: 1) Honor Biden 2) Make sure they told Kamala's story Hard to do both at the same time. Fable 5 (aka baby Mythos) just dropped. Is it as scary (or scary good) as they claim? My thoughts after some early testing: - smart smart smart (crushed SWE bench) - but do you always need hyper intelligence? - faceplanted on one-shot design in a way that shocked me - i'm not sure about dynamic workflows + complex subagents. they work, but at what cost? - def knocked out technical work well - ootb bad at making technical docs + specs for humans. probably really good docs for agents. but nearly impossible to parse prose. - A++ vision and document formatting. this was my favorite part NOT a daily driver, wouldn't put this model in a meeting, but def will keep it back in the server rack, churning out code. OMG!!!!! 6 Days Ago I had never written a line of code in my life. But I just deployed my first note taking web app with a back end that stores the data, using Claude, Replit, and Google Firebase. Just brute forced asked Claude questions alternating between 2 accounts to get around the limits, AND STILL running out of credits on both accounts. Just about 4.5 hours later I had a custom Notes app in the style that I wanted. I obviously don't have any programming "hard skills", but my understanding of what is possible with code has increased 1,000,000%... I would share link but i don't think my code protects my API tokens or whatever... I got confused on that part. --- Next step is adding perplexity and claude API into the app. :) Posting full video making this on youtube at some point, idk when, its 3AM, off to bed... much love.

It's not 100% perfect, but kids love it and the point is to entertain them while getting my sons' music in people's ears, so if you have them please be sure and show it to them, I'm sure my boy will be so happy if you do! Happy Halloween. Welcome to our world of Halloween. Introducing The Ultimate Fiend. I’ve been making my son a custom Halloween mask every year as our family tradition since 2019. I’m not a pro at this and it’s never easy, but it’s always worth it since these are memories that no one can take away from us. This year, my son wanted to be The Ultimate Fiend. His favorite wrestler, Windham Rotunda, aka Bray Wyatt from WWE, passed away last year before he could portray this version of the character. The mask I created for my son was based off of the mask that was created by Jason Baker and Callosum Studios. The first mask I made for my son in 2019 was based off of the original Bray Wyatt Fiend character. My son and I would have never started this tradition if it wasn’t for the world of the Firefly Funhouse and Fiend character in the first place so, we had to make The Ultimate Fiend mask for Halloween this year. There is more to come and one last piece to the costume for The Ultimate Fiend. In spring 2021 I was looking for something to do. My job was coming to an end and I wasn't quite sure what the future held. I bought a drone and for more days than I care to remember I got up at 4:30am to film the West Links at North Berwick Golf Club. It helped clear my mind! You can see the full video of all 18 holes on my website and YouTube. But if you just fancy watching some nice shots of possible my favourite course in the world, this should do the trick!
