UPDATE: Tyler Robinson Judge ruled that Tyler Robinson will stand trial in Charlie Kirk's murder, where he could face the death penalty. Robinson already declined to testify at the preliminary hearing, and his lawyers have not indicated he will take the stand at trial. Putting him on the stand in a case with alleged written notes, texts, DNA, video, and other evidence would expose him to cross-examination, so his defense team likely advised against it. At this point, as far as I can tell, the trial will be televised to the public.

Thread 1/3 I visited two more GHs (Veerakeralampudur & Ayikudi) today and found that although stools were provided to outpatients after Joint Director's instruction, doctors were still not allowing patients to sit. One of the many elderly patients I met today was around 80 years old. He had a severe wound dressed on his leg. The female doctor who treated him at the OP ward in Veerakeralampudur GH did not allow him to sit. He was standing in pain, holding the wooden sheet used to divide the OP rooms. He had leg pain and had already obtained his OP chit when I reached the GH. I helped him climb the steps, reach the doctor. After consultation, I made him sit in front of the pharmacy. Notably, the doctor asked a patient who had rushed to the GH for scorpion sting treatment to sit on the stool, but he was hesitant and did not sit as an elderly man with a severe wound was already standing

I was one of the many who loved watching John Stapleton on TV. I grew up enjoying him be warm and witty and - later in life - I had the pleasure of bumping into him on various occasions and he was just as kind in the flesh. My thoughts are with his son Nick and his close friends this morning. It was so lovely to spend some time with him on Channel 5 News last October talking about his Parkinson’s. He was, as he always was, brilliant, intelligent and self-deprecating. There are some beautiful tributes to John in the papers today and he will be greatly missed.

Stratosphere was our biggest and heaviest character on #Transformers ROTB. He was a real challenge to deal with on the Modeling, Texturing, and Rendering side. He had 1434 UDIMs due to his immense scale and was made up of tens of thousands of objects. His level of detail was truly something else. His vehicle form was also a behemoth. We had also built a mortar for his robot form and a cannon for his vehicle form but neither of these made it into the film as his part in the final battle was cut out. He was originally supposed to help out in the final battle, using both of these weapons against the Sweepers and Predacons. The decision to cut him from the final act came very late as all of his assets were final at that point. We were never told the reason why his role was cut from the film. I had to re-design my texturing system in Mari when working on him to ensure that it could handle such a complex and large character. I had to simplify a lot of the procedural systems and even had to branch off some of them into their own files to ensure that artists could work with somewhat decent performance. We ran into a lot of issues pushing him through our pipeline, both as a model as well as rendering him due to the sheer amount of objects and textures that had to be processed. For shots, it was requested by Lighting that we reduce his memory footprint as Google had complained he was taking up too much memory and their I/O for rendering on the cloud was being affected. The leadership team and I decided that the best way to do this was to half the texel density on the parts that wouldn't be visible in our approved shots and to also half the resolution of the textures in the parts not visible to camera. This allowed us to optimize his memory footprint both in shots as well as storage and I/O. It was massive technical undertaking working on Stratosphere, so much so that we had to delay getting him into shots as we simply couldn't push him through with our normal tooling. I really enjoyed the challenge that he posed for us as a team. Dear Everyone, The last few days have been hell. Losing Kiyo has not been easy and I’m not ok. Kiyo gave me the best time of my life. The level of joy you brought into my word and any space he was able to exist in was incomparable. Kiyo was my lover, my best friend, and my truth. He truly saw me for who I was and I saw him for who he was. I didn’t just love him, I believed in him, prayed for his victory. I cared for him. Who would have thought that bringing back a piece of Tupperware would invite me into the world of the purest, kindest soul in the world. Kiyo would do anything for anyone. He was my hero and I was his. We both kept our capes on for each other whenever we needed to save the other person. I am grateful that I got to experience a love like his. I am grateful I got to spend some of the best moments of my life with him. I am grateful that even I grieve I still feel his warmth and care. Kiyo taught me be more patient and understanding and no matter how we came into this world and no matter how bad the world treated us, it doesn’t give us the right to exact that same unkindness to others. He loves animals, anime, a good meal, Steven Universe, a really inappropriate joke, and you never had to guess how he felt about you. As he was goofy he was charming. I still feel his hands interlocked into mine and he was fearless. He loved like no other man I have met in this world could. The first night we reconnected he gave my cat Patrick the middle name Bayard. He gave me first Christmas full of love and laughs. The first man in my life to actually pay attention to me and surprise me with gifts that he knew I would love and were true to who I was as a nerd. Anytime I could get it, I was with him. He had full access to my home and my heart. To Mike and Rico thank you for always being there for him and caring for him, Mike you coming into town in March really lit him up. First time I got to dance with him. Rico thank you for taking him to there museum. He loved every moment of it. All he could do was rave about how much made his day. To Tony, his wife and his gaming community on Destiny 2, thank you for being patient with my baby and giving him space to be man that he was and to his Dad and his brothers. He loved y’all more than you know. All he wanted was for y’all to be ok. And to all his true friends and loved ones know that he always thought of y’all. I will never say goodbye to Kiyoki-D’Andre Marcel Toliver, I will say see you later because no matter where you are I know you are watching me because what we had was Immortal. As I grieve I will try to give any notice on his memorial service which will be in NYC because his grandmother sent him here to find the best version of himself and I know he truly did. President Cyril Ramaphosa on Hangwani Maumela: Do I deal with him? NO. Do I meet him and sit down with him? NO. Do I visit him at his house? NO. Am I appalled at the allegations that are being made against him? YES. I am appalled. As I walk past that house, I know that house was built with the money, as it is alleged that was not properly acquired, and it is money that should've been spent on the health of our people. So the SIU has taken action and I applaud that.
